Mining message bug!

I had a very close hit in the mine. So I tried the spots encircling the very close hit. The encircling hits gave very far messages. How is this possible? These hits happened within the same try. I do know the messages reset after getting something but this is all within same try. I wasted several mining tools on this similar situation and got nothing. TL pls advice.

This will be fixed next update.

In the meantime, we recommend waiting a few seconds after finding an item in the mine. This should help prevent the issue from occurring.

Same here! Top left corner, happened twice in a row so I'm going to stop mining for now.

What happened to me is that I got "very close" and on the next hit I got no message at all. The hole seemed smaller too but I'm not sure.

Tried one more time and this time I just got "too far" straight after "very close". Top left corner every time.

I did this three times and my mine seems to be normal.
I will go head and report this over.

What specific devices do you play on?

There's definitely something wrong in the mine...
I was just mining and twice (on two separate occasions) I hit on 'near' and both times I found the surrounding area, in all directions, said 'too far'.
I have given up on mine until this problem is resolved. Kindly keep us updated.

Btw I play on iPhone 4s and have only had this problem yesterday and today. I installed the last update, yesterday.
Problem was also in the top left corner.

I'm on an iPhone 5s.

Some additional info for my experience with this bug: The top left corner works fine if the very first ore is located there. It's after you find your first one, then it does the "very close or near" thing when there is nothing actually around. I used probably 20 picks/shovels since I needed the silver for my train and it happened every time after finding that first ore.
