What someone figured out was if you chopped on an old log twice and then started chopping on another old log, the fortune didn't end until you chopped a log for the third time. So you could keep the fortune alive for quite a while and just pile on the shards and fragments. You could leave the old logs littering your kingdom or sell them for 0 coins and get them out of the way.

But I cannot sell an old log. I cannot sell, store, or do anything with it. Are other people able to sell them?

Old logs aren't worth selling for $0. Better to chop them and get the other items or if you're full on everything you can place them in front of your animals and it looks like the animals are eating the logs, grass etc.

How did you people do this?! Does the fortune teller tent thingy give you more parts or something? I have five and am 4 plants away from sending out a trade to get a sixth. This is worse and more annoying than the badges we had to collect.

I don't have the fortune teller's tent but did finish this last month. I was struggling with it (although it wasn't nearly as bad as the valentine botany goal...that took me an entire year to complete) until I started planting the fellora plants. That helped so much. Now that I'm done I'm starting to max out on the items without even trying...typical so I keep making the plants and occasionally sending to Belladonna.
