Egg by Chance?

Hej there,

I started this Game just some days ago, i tried to mix different creature together but i got 4 planters in a row.
Do the eggsdrop by Chance? Or can i be sure, when i mix a Rhinozeros with a banbonobo, that a Special Animal will evolve? I am confused...

There's a list of which animals goes with certain animal to get another different animal. Look for breeding list on the first page . That should help but sometimes I forget which combo of animals then I end up with three armadillo. Good luck
