There has been several times during battle that the game lagged on the 1st move. I found my pet at no health, the opposing animal at full health, and gems were spent. I thought at first I hit the wrong button and used the Ultimate Move, but I did no damage and died. Plus I was using my thumb on most of them, so it's not like I reached across the screen.
I don't want the gems back, but maybe you guys could look into this to see what happened?
