Lost Energy when Leveled up from 35 to 36

On Wednesday or Thursday I lost 40 energy I think. I was at zero when I received the Level 36 display. I saw 80 energy then a few taps later it was down to 40. Not sure what happened.

Sorry about the confusion. You may have experienced a display error. The game may have shown 80 energy when you actually received a refill and had 40 energy and after a few actions in the game it corrected itself. Please let us know if you have any questions, thank you.

Oops my error in thinking. If I was at 40 energy then it would have been 80. Thanks

Yup, if you were maxed out on energy and you leveled, it would have added the refill and brought you up to 80. But you mentioned you were at zero so when you leveled, you got your energy refill and you were brought up to 40 energy.
