This is not too hard once you figure it out. The point is that you need to look ahead - behind the chain - to see whether the next group of balls is "anchored" to something or not. If not, throw a ball to the chain next to it to "stick" it to the side of the chain or to another group of balls. Then it won't fall down when you open the chain. You can figure it out by trial and error - if they fall down remember to stick them to something the next time you play.
