Fortune Teller stuck on a goad

Hi. I purchased the Fortune Teller for gems (doesn't seem to be available for sale anymore) quite a few months ago. It would occasionally drop "goals" with rewards. I have been stuck on this last goal for well over a month, called "The lip puckering fortune: "Something unexpected will fall from a tree...today! (Chop down different kinds!)

Since this goal has appeared, I have chopped and chopped and chopped, and the goal has not budged. This seems an unusually long time. Please advise. I am disappointed to have spent so many gems on this building which yields very little in "fortunes".

Anyone else have this issue?
