    Expanding bakery

There was an option listed where I could have expanded my bakery if I had 15 neighbors. After I added 15 neighbors, that option disappeared. Why?

You need a certain number of neighbours to be able to BUY the expansion with coins.

You said u can expand the bakery using coins, but after i add enough number of neighbors, and even though i have enough coins, the option of coins disappears, leaving the gem option, why is that so?

I dont know why that would be happening. Do you have the option to scroll across to the next screen? I have also read another thread where a person had particular number of neighbours, but their profile said that they had less. Does your profile say you have enough neighbours? You may have to contact TL Support about that, unless someone else has an idea.

    Lightbulb Expanding bakery

There are different expansions that you can buy with coins or gems. It may be that you were confused by the fact that expansion using gems remains the same at all levels of expansion. It has been a while since I expanded at the beginning. Perhaps someone can provide the earlier expansion sizes and costs to complete the list below.

Here is the expansion costs as I remember them:

    11 X 14 ....... 250,000 coins.....or 40 gems
    12 X 15 ....... 500,000 coins.....or 40 gems
    13 X 16 ..... 1,000,000 coins.....or 40 gems
    14 X 17 ..... 2,000,000 coins.....or 40 gems
    15 X 18 ..... 3,000,000 coins.....or 40 gems
    16 X 19 ..... 4,000,000 coins.....or 40 gems
    17 X 20 ..... 5,000,000 coins.....or 40 gems

If you want to use gems, this is where you should use them. The longer you wait to use them, the more they are worth. You may also need a certain number of neighbors in order to expand. I don't remember how many at each level. If you are a good neighbor, this should not be a problem.

I don't understand this. Why are gems worth more the longer you wait????

    Thanks!!!

The gems are worth more as expanding to 11x14 costs 40gems but only 250,000 coins but 17x20 still costs 40 gems but 5,000,000 coins.

Save your gems, have patience and expand using coins.
