For those wondering, Quartz did indeed beat rune - huge crit on the second magic almost ended it, the third hit took barely a tap to send him off. I'm pretty pleased how well Quartz does against removed green-yellow, and have her up to level 8 now and am going to keep feeding her to epic. It's nice when something in arena works according to plan!
Before that, though, Taurus charged through several of my consistently good fighters. Platinum 7, removed epics independence and forestfire, even a level 8 cosmic. All dragons that rarely lose for me, surprised me. So I tried a less reliable fighter who tends to waffle a bit on easy fights, my left heart dragon. Well! Tamed the bull easily! I guess all he needed was love lol.
Glitter, level 3 rainbow, got her trip to the spa courtesy of black knight. She's happy, chance to freshen up the eyeshadow. And I am debating whether or not to ultimate. With 2 days and the Evil Eleven left, I know I am not likely to finish without ultimates on all the champ rounds. I've got good options on the rest, though prism usually gives me trouble before losing, and with no diamonds it usually takes longer to get the win. I don't want to spend gold just to get down to the last few hours and get stuck on quetzal or crusader.
