    The Holiday Workshop

Greetings to all across the land!
In the spirit of giving, kingdoms far and wide are searching
for things to present to their friends and loved ones.
Festivities begin with the finding of the perfect items,
but then there is the matter of wrapping!
Thankfully, we sometimes can find help with that part!

OT: The season of giving is upon us!
Ruler: So it is, Old Thomas! Have you finished all your shopping?
OT: Oh, finding the gifts was the easy part.
It is wrapping them that I have trouble with...
    Ruler: Yeah, you're right.
We have a lot of gift wrapping in our future!
IVY: I have an idea! Let's help each other wrap presents!
    Ruler: Good thinking!
I bet it'll be a lot easier if we all help each other!
IVY: I sure hope so. But first things first...
We're going to need some supplies!

Ivy>We need lots of Holiday Ribbons from our neighbors.
Everything else is right here at home!
Shopping's The Easy Part! - We'll need lots of Holiday Ribbons; Visit the Cottages and collect Jingle Bells; visit Old Thomas at home & Ivy's Hut for some chocolate coins
Ivy>Keep asking for Holiday Ribbons every day!

Ruler: Do we have everything we need for our gift wrapping marathon?
    OT: Let us see...
Ribbons... Bells... chocolate... yes, I believe this is everything!
Ruler: Wait, chocolate? What do we need chocolate for?
    OT: Motivation!
Ruler: Okay, Old Thomas. Sure thing.
IVY: Alright! If we?ve got everything we need,
I guess it's time to get started!
Ruler: It sure is! Where should we set up shop?
    IVY: Where else? The Workshop!
We'll have all the space we need, there!
Ruler: Good idea! Old Thomas, are you ready to go?
*Old Thomas looks up from eating chocolate*
    OT: Hmm? Oh, ahh...
    Y-Yes, my apologies!
Let us be off to the Workshop!

Ivy> Don't eat *all* the chocolate!
We have a lot of work ahead of us to get all these presents wrapped!
Chocolate Gift-wrapping? To the Workshop! To craft a mystery gift box.
Ivy> One of the citizens left a present! I wonder how it's for?

Ruler: Whew! Okay, so that?s one down...
IVY: ...and a whole lot more to go!
OT: Oh-ho! Look at this, Young Ruler.
Quite a few of these presents are for you!
Ruler: Me? Really? Cool! What do you think is in it?
IVY: There's only one way to find out!
While you're doing that, though, do you see that huge production line?
Ruler: Yeah, I do! What do you suppose they're doing over there?
OT: I heard the workers have plans for a new line of decorations for the kingdom.
Perhaps that is what they are working on?
Ruler: It looks like production is stopped.
Maybe they don't have enough supplies?
IVY: We should lend a hand!
    Ruler: Definitely! But, how?
IVY: Open up that gift box--maybe there?s something inside to help?
Ruler: It's worth a try! Let's see what I got!

OT>The workers need Snowman Orbs for their new production line.
Get them from opening Gift Boxes!
All Wrapped Up - open gift boxes (Special and Grand Gift boxes also count)
Get the Snowman Orbs from the gift boxes and craft a mystery decoration!
OT> The workers gave us this statue as thanks!
I wonder what other decorations they're making?

Ivy>The workers have lots of new seasonal decorations!
Wouldn't they look great in our kingdom?
Presents Galore! Helpful little workers - those Elf Gnome!
Potted Poinsettia, brilliant red flowers to brighten up the kingdom!
Don't eat the Gingerbread House Old Thomas!!!
Anyone up for a game, at the Skating Pond?
An icy rendition of the lovely mermaid herself, Princess Lorelei!
Look--flowing water caught in mid-motion at the Frozen Fountain!
Ivy> A full set! You did it!

    Happy Glimmer Year!

AnniePMH was kind enough to provide photos of the missing dialog.
    https://forum.storm8.com/showthread.p...-dialog-thread
they are very much appreciated by me.
let her know that you also appreciate the effort. thank you

OT: Are you excited for the turning of the Glimmer Year, Young Ruler?
    Ruler: I sure am!
But, I don't know how to celebrate.
I don't remember any of my past traditions.
OT: Hmm, a troubling problem indeed.
I am sure we will think of something to do, though!
IVY: Well, why don't we make our own traditions?
This is a new kingdom, after all! It makes sense to have something all our own.
Ruler: That's true! Sure, why not?
    Where do we start, though?
OT: I have a few scrolls on the matter that I think may help.
They detail the varied cultures of we Humans, the Trolls, and the Faeries.
Ruler: Yeah, that's a great place to start! I bet we'll find lots of ideas!
IVY: In the meantime, why don't we go ahead
and start preparing a place to celebrate?
No matter what we decide to do, we'll need place to do it!
Ruler: oh yeah, good point, Ivy.
OT: Well, I have plans in my archives for a public fountain.
Shall we use those as a starting point for construction?
As we learn more about Glimmer Year practices,
we can adapt our plans as needed.
Ruler: A fountain would be a great place for people to gather.
And it sounds like it's very adaptable to the different cultural traditions.
I like it! Let's get to work right away!

OT>Now, then, where did I put those plans? ...
    1. A Celebration For All - build the Glimmer Fountain
A venue for the kingdom to celebrate the Glimmer Year!
OT>Ah, very good! What is next, Young Ruler?

OT: We are off to a good start, Young Ruler!
Ruler: You and Ivy had great ideas, Old Thomas.
I'm feeling much better about the Glimmer Year already!
    IVY: Hooray! Good!
The Glimmer Year should be a time of festive cheer for everyone!
Ruler: So, now that we've got the fountain started,
    how about those traditions?
OT: Ah, yes! So, according to my scrolls...
    ...Ahh... hmm... Oh, dear...
I thought I had them here in my sleeve...
IVY: You must've dropped them in the rush to get the fountain started.
We'll look around the construction site. I'm sure we can find them!

Ivy>That Old Thomas! Oh well, it wouldn't be a proper celebration without his forgetfulness, would it?
    2. Do Your Research! Did he drop them near the construction site?
Maybe he lost them among other scrolls? Search the Libraries.
Ivy>Here they are! Let's go find Old Thomas!

IVY: The fountain sure is coming along nicely!
Ruler: It is, isn't it? Though, I'm kind of stuck on what we should do next...
IVY: Well, I looked ahead a bit in Old Thomas. scrolls?
I didn't read the details, but I saw that Faerie celebrations involve gardens!
Ruler: Oh? Well, that's easy enough to incorporate into the fountain!
    IVY: I thought so, too!
It should be fine to skip ahead a little bit and start planting.
After all, it takes a while for flowers to grow.
Ruler: True. We'll need a head start if we want them to be ready for the celebration!
IVY: My thoughts exactly! Let's go ahead and start planting!

Ivy>Let's decorate the fountain with lots of flowers!
2B. Glimmer Garden - Flowers might attract Faeries to the kingdom!

OT: Ah, my scrolls! Thank you, thank you!
Ruler: Not a problem! What do they say about the Glimmer Year?
OT: Right, then. Let us see... Shall we begin with what's closest to home?
The traditions of many Human kingdoms focus upon the harvest.
The idea is you select the finest crops from the season's harvest?
...from which a large feast is prepared and shared with all the citizens.
IVY: I have a feeling that's not how the Baron celebrates the Glimmer Year!
Ruler: All the more reason to make sure we do it right!
IVY: I agree! Let's plant fresh crops, then donate the best of the harvest.
Ruler: Sounds like a plan! We'll take everything to the Market Places.
Most of our citizens do their business there.
    I bet it'll be a nice surprise!

OT>Sharing our crops shows gratitude for the land.
We do this to ask for plentiful harvests next year!
    3. Human Habits - You'll need Carrots to make stew!
A good harvest benefit's the whole kingdom!
Let's bring our offering to the citizens!
    OT>Great work!

IVY: The people look like they really enjoyed that part of the celebration!
Ruler: That's good! The happier the kingdom is, the better!
Next up are the Trolls, right?
OT: Very good, Young Ruler! Yes, our next study covers the practices of the Trolls.
IVY: Ooo! I know some of this part! My sister told me a lot about it!
A lot of what the Trolls do is centered around hunting, all throughout the year.
The Glimmer Year is no different!
    OT: Yes, exactly!
...Well, sort of. There is no hunt held for the Glimmer Year.
Rather, it is the one time of the year when the Trolls do not hunt!
IVY: Oh, right! Instead of actually hunting, they honor past hunts, right?
    OT: That is correct.
They do this by offering the armaments and spoils of past hunts.
Ruler: So, they're really not much different from Humans, right?
Instead of seeking good fortune in harvests, they see it for their hunts.
OT: That is an excellent way of putting it, Young Ruler!
IVY: Well, we've definitely had quite a few good hunts this year!
I'm sure we can find lots of good stuff to offer as thanks!

OT>While we conduct the Troll portion of our celebration, we should also resume work on the fountain.
    4. Troll Traditions - Creep Tooth (This represents the spoils of past hunts) ;
Longswords ( we also offer the tools used in those hunts)
Horse Hair (A token from the steeds who aid our hunts)
Maybe a centerpiece atop the fountain?

AnniePMH was kind enough to provide photos of the missing dialog.

    Ruler: Hmm...
OT: What troubles you, Young Ruler?
Ruler: Well, the fountain does a great job paying homage to the Faeries...
...but I'm at a loss s to how to do the same for the Trolls.
OT: Ah, yes. I suppose it is rather difficult to incorporate hunting in a fountain.
Perhaps if we think further outside of the box?
What elements can we think of which relate to the hunt...
...but are not directly involved in hunting?
    Ruler: Well, let's see...
Oh! Well, when there's a great big hunt, you have to leave for a while, right?
So, camping is sort of involved in hunting, right?
OT: Ah! Yes, splendid thinking, Young Ruler! I think I know just the thing.
We can affix fire pits at each corner, designed in Troll aesthetic.
Ruler: That's a great idea, Old Thomas!
It's the perfect way to pay tribute to the Trolls, and it'll keep visitors warm!
    Glimmer Hearth

Ruler: Okay, so we've so far covered Human traditions and Troll traditions.
The Faerie traditions are all that's left, right?
OT: That is correct, Young Ruler! Faerie culture is covered in this final scroll!
Unlike Humans and Trolls, Glimmer Faeries are not concerned with yearly fortune.
Instead, their practices are centered around the lore of their birth.
Ruler: All that stuff with Lady Finverra, right?
OT: Yes! Lady Finverra is credited with creating the Faeries' home, the Plume Hive.
IVY: Oh! Oh! I know this part!
The Faeries honor Lady Finverra with the planting of a brand-new garden!
I'm... not really sure why, though?
OT: Not to worry, I have it all right here in my scrolls!
The planting of the Plume Hive provided a home for the Faeries.
The planting of a new garden provides a home for various forest creatures.
In this way, they honor Lady Finverra's fabled hospitality and generosity!
Ruler: That's definitely something I want to emulate with this kingdom!
IVY: I guess we know what to do, then!
Ruler: Yup! Let's go plant a fresh garden, just like the Faeries do!
Hopefully, our garden will become a home to new critters, too!
    Faerie Festivities

    OT: So, Young Ruler!
We have learned much about Faerie, Troll, and even our own Human customs.
Do you know how you would like to celebrate the Glimmer Year?
Ruler: I do! I think what we did this year was great.
I want this place to be a land where everyone feels welcome and accepted.
So let's make an effort each and every year to embrace everyone's practices!
OT: A wonderful notion, Young Ruler, and one that I will gladly support!
    IVY: Me, too!
There's just one more thing we forgot, though?
Ruler: Oh, yeah? What's that, Ivy?
    IVY: FIREWORKS!!!
    Ring In With A Bang!

Final dialog or proclamation, if there is any, will go here

    Monster Hunt #4 - Princess Lorelei's Fountain

Seasons come and go, filled with new adventures.
Another approaches, and with it a beauty like no other!
Pristine and glistening, its lovely sheen is truly a sight to behold!
Placed in a high spot, all the kingdom can share in its glory.
Her likeness shall suspend it, displaying her care and love for so precious a treasure!
If you can prove yourself, perhaps this tribute can be yours?
Return to the Trader Trolls with proof of your battle prowess!
Eager citizens await the grand reveal of your prize... !

Ruler: The party you planned was really special, Ivy.
Thank you for always bringing cheer to everything you do.
    IVY: D'aww...
OT: Indeed! Thank you, Miss Ivy. In the past I may have been skeptical...
However, I find myself fully excited for all of the plans that come to your mind!
IVY: You guys are going to make me cry...thank you.
    You are the best.
Ruler: So, what do we do with this jewel? Should we save it for next year's game?
IVY: No way! New year, new games! We should repurpose this beauty.
    Oooh... I have an idea!

Ivy>The Trader Trolls are great with sculptures! Let's bring them the sapphires and see what they think?
Princess Lorelei's Fountain - I bet they will have some great ideas!
Ivy>I can't wait to see what the Trader Trolls come up with!

Ruler: The Trader Trolls are making a fountain of Princess Lorelei!
She sure is pretty... But, Old Thomas told me mermaids are not real.
He says they're just tales made up by fishermen and sailors.
Still... there has to be *some* truth to the stories.
Mermaids may not be real, but maybe Princess Lorelei is?
...maybe I just want her to be real because of how lonely I am.
I wonder how my parents are doing. Do they miss me?
    Are they searching for me?
And who *are* my parents, anyways?
I can't remember anything from before the Baron dropped me off here.
...I can't cry. I'm the ruler of this Kingdom.
I have to be strong. *sniff sniff*

Ivy>The trader Trolls say the fountain is ready!
All that's left is the main feature... the Sapphire!
A Mermaid's Gift - get the fountain from the Trade Wagon!
I can't wait to see it.
Ivy> Wow, it's so pretty! And I think I see some Troll Tokens in the water!

Ruler: Sir Thurston! The Trader Trolls are back!
Thurston: Is it that time already, My Liege?
Ruler: Come on. You said you'd try harder to get along with the Trolls, remember?
Thurston: Yes, very well, My Liege. I shall put forth my greatest effort!
Ruler: Great! I can't wait to see what the Trader Trolls have this season!
Thurston: T-Take your time, My Liege! There?s no need to rush...!

Thurston>If I focus on the hunting, 'tis not so bad!
Tokens For My Liege! - fight monsters, Visit the Trade Wagon
Thurston> An impressive bounty, My Liege!
...Hark, who is that approaching us?

Thurston: My Liege! The Baron's royal carriage approaches!
Ruler: What? Oh, no... Please tell me you're kidding!

*The Baron's carriage slows to a stop, and the door swings open.*
The Baron: Greetings, Peasants! Your King has arrived!!!
Ruler: Great. What a wonderful surprise.
Baron: I know. Try to contain your excitement!
In any case, I have a bone to pick with you! Think yourself sly do you?
Ruler: What are you talking about? I mean, I know I'm a better ruler than you, but--
Baron: Those statues, you flippant little child! Did you think I would not notice?
Ruler: Oh. Those? They're gifts from the Trader Trolls.
Baron: I care not who they are from. Why is there not one of me, your KING?!
Ruler: That's not *my* fault! If you want one, you just have to go earn one!
Prove yourself to the Trader Trolls, and they'll give you a statue.
Baron: Hah! Such a naive fool! As if *I* would ever dirty my royal hands with...
...ugh... *hunting* ... ! No, no, I have a *much* better idea!
You and that silly knight of yours will get that statue *for* me!
Ruler: Why am I not surprised?

Baron>Consider it your royal tribute. GET TO WORK!
Baron, The Slayer? -fight more monsters to get more tokens!
Baron>Well? Do you have the statue yet?

The Baron: What is taking so long? Why do I not have that statue yet?!
Ruler: Hunting takes time, you know!
Baron: Bah! See, this is why I typically do not involve myself with peasant affairs!
Ruler: Do you want that statue? If not, I have better things to do than hunt for you!
Baron: You mean all that "charity" and "good will" stuff you keep going on about?
    Ruler: Yeah!
Baron: Hah! You can get back to your idle fumblings as soon as that statue is mine!

    Thurston>Worry not--we are almost done!
Inglorious Baron - Let's just stick to monsters
Thurston>Complete at last! I hope this keeps the Baron appeased for a while yet!

    The End...

    The Blythewood Faeries Part 3

Glimmerwood antics have run rampant once more! Only this time, something far more nefarious may be at hand...
No one has seen anyone suspicious about, have they? Ensuring the kingdom's safety is a ruler's top priority!!!

Sabina: It has been so very long since that poor little Faerie entered the Faerie Bulb...
I wonder how she is doing?
I think I will go check on her, and make sure she is recovering nicely!
    ...Hmm? That is most odd...
Was that not Azalea of the Glimmerwood Faeries?
But, are the Glimmerwood Faeries not still upset with us?
...Perhaps I should see what she is up to, just in case...

Sabina>I am certain she means no harm! Still, it is best to be on the safe side and check.
    1. Spritely Snooping - Follow Azalea among the Flowers(Is there something in the plants?)
Trail Azalea through the Market Place (Doing some light shopping... ?)
Check the Faerie Bulb (They better not be after Fwipple again!)
Sabina>She appears to be distressed! Perhaps I can be of assistance?

    Sabina: Um... Hello, there! Azalea?
    Azalea: EEK! Who's there?!
Sabina: Aah! I am sorry, Azalea--it is only I, Princess Sabina.
    I was just wondering if--
Azalea: *YOU*?! Oh, so you're SPYING, now? Go away!!!
Sabina: What? No, I meant no harm! But you looked like you could use some help.
Azalea: Not from *YOU*, I don't! Everything is all YOUR fault!
Ugh, she's probably not here anyway... Leave us alone!!!
    *Azalea zips away*

IVY: Hey Sabina! Wasn't that Azalea, just now? What's up?
Sabina: Yes, it was... I think something is wrong!
She seemed to be looking for something, so I offered to help.
She only got mad at me, and flew off! She said it is all my fault...
IVY: You? I doubt that--you're the sweetest person I know when it comes to Faeries!
    Sabin: You really think so?
IVY: Definitely! She's probably just still mad at us about the Goddess Tree.
Sabina: Ah, yes, perhaps. Though, something is definitely wrong!
IVY: I'll say. Let's pay a visit to the Plume Hive and check on things!

Ivy>We should go alone--if we bring the whole kingdom, we might cause a panic!
    2. Panic At The Plume Hive - to the Plume Hive (Time to go investigate!)
Ivy>Hmm... Where are all the Faeries... ?

Sabina>Azalea? I am sorry if I upset you, Azalea. Please, let us help!
...Hmm, that is odd. I do not see her anywhere...
IVY: Yeah, I don't see her either? Nor any of the other Faeries, for that matter.
Come on out! We don't mean any harm--just tell us what we can do to help!
Sabina: I do not think they are here, Miss Ivy. Where do you suppose they went?
IVY: I don't know, but something seems off. Let's look around and see what we find.

Ivy>They can't *really* still be hiding, can they?
You'd think they'd at least have come out and yelled at us by now...
    3. Anybody Home? - search for clues (Keep searching the Magic Garden!)
Ivy> Magic strings? That's odd... I wonder what they're for?

Ruler: Ivy! Sabina! Where have you two been? We've been looking for you.
IVY: Sorry! Did we miss anything?
Old Thomas: Only the most delicious strawberries I have ever tasted!
We thought you two might like to try them...
...Or bake a delicious strawberry cheesecake, perhaps?
Sabina: Ohh, that *does* sound delightful!
But, it would seem we may have an urgent matter on our hands...
Ruler: Urgent? Did something happen? Is everyone OK?
Sabina: We are not sure. We think something may have happened to the Faeries.
Preedle: The Faeries?! Those Glimmer brutes aren't after Fwipple again, are they?
IVY: I don't think so, Preedle, but we may want to check on her.
All the Glimmerwood Faeries are missing!
Ruler: What? What do you mean, "missing"?
Sabina: I saw Azalea searching for something near our lands.
When I offered to help, she panicked and ran off!
IVY: I suggested we go check things out at the Plume Hive.
But when we arrived, there was no one in sight!
Not even a pinch of Faerie dust!
Ruler: Hmm... That's really strange! Did you find any clues or anything?
Sabina: We did! We found these odd strings in the surrounding gardens.
Ruler: Great find! Let's have Lady Greselda examine them and see what she can find.
Preedle: What about Fwipple?! If someone's out there hurtin' Faeries...
Sabina: I agree. I will go and help you check on her, Preedle.

Lady G>My, these strings are most bizarre! This is going to require some better equipment...
We'd best visit the Magic Forge, dears.
    4. An Ominous Glimmer - Examine the Shimmering Strands(Get more from the Magic Garden!)
Check on Fwipple (She's resting in the Faerie Bulb!)
Lady G>The results are in. This bodes ill for our Faeries, I think...

Preedle: Hey, kiddo. How ya doin'?
Fwipple: Mmm, I'm much better now! This bulb is real comfy!
Preedle: Yeah, you look lots better now. I'm glad to here it!
C'mon, I'll introduce ya to everyone!
    Fwipple: Everyone... ?
Preedle: Don't worry, Fwipple, these humans ain't half bad!
    They helped me free ya.
Fwipple: Oh! Ahh... Hello. And, um... thank you for saving me!
Ruler: Don't mention it! We're just happy we could help.

Lady G: Unfortunately, it seems our efforts toward that end are not yet complete.
Fwipple: P-Oh? Um... What do you mean?
Preedle: While you were out, Ivy and Sabina found these weird strings.
    You find something out, Grizzy?
Lady G: Grr... Yes, I did...
These strands have a magical quality about them.
...or, rather, an ANTI-magical quality. They contain--or *drain* --magic.
    Preedle: What?! That's awful!
Fwipple: Oh, no! You found those around here somewhere?
Lady G: No, dear. They were found near the Plume Hive.
Ruler: This can't be good. That clan has been a bit shady lately...
...but I doubt they would go so far as to make anti-magic string!
Lady G: Not just string--the pattern of the threading suggest they came from a net.
Fwipple: So... Does that mean someone tried to capture the Glimmerwood Faeries?
Sabina: They did not simply try--they succeeded! All the Faeries there are missing!
    Fwipple: That's horrible!

Old Thomas: Young Ruler, as your Royal Advisor I must advise we declare a state of alert.
While it is true this did not occur on our lands, we face a potential threat.
Ruler: I agree. We need to move Fwipple and Preedle to a safer location.
Sabina: Oh! They can stay with me! I will protect them with all my might!
Ruler: I don't doubt it. Thank you, Sabina.
Sir Thurston: I shall warn the knights to be on their toes, My Liege!
Should any threat dare tread our way...
...our swords and shields shall be at the ready to defend these lands!
Ruler: Great! Just what I like to hear, Sir Thurston!
Old Thomas: Then I shall work with our craftsmen to reinforce our lookouts and defences!
Fwipple: All of you are doing so much to protect us, though I hardly know you...
    Thank you. Truly!
Ruler: Like I said, we just want to help! Go with Sabina--you two will be just fine.

Thurston>Worry not, My Liege! No one in this kingdom will be harmed on MY watch!
    5. Threatening Threads - Take Fwipple and Preedle to safety
(Get them settled in at Sabina's House!)
Rally the knights! TO ARMS! (Prepare them with any adventure!)
    Reinforce the kingdom! (Watchtowers/Lantern Spires)

Thurston>I, Sir Thurston, do here by declare this kingdom sufficiently prepared!

Ruler: You two getting settled in OK?
Preedle: We sure are! This place is real nice!
Fwipple: Yes! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Princess Sabina!
Sabina: It is a pleasure, my friends! I promise to take very good care of you both!
Ruler: Okay, so now that they're safe and we've secured the kingdom...
What are we going to do about the Plume Hive?

Old Thomas: It is difficult for us to plan our next step without knowing what happened there.
However, Miss Ivy and Princess Sabina report there is no one left...
IVY: True... but, if we act quickly, there just might be something we can do!
Ruler: Yeah? What do you have in mind?
IVY: When we were little, my sis had a potion that told her if I'd invaded her room!
Ruler: ...Okay... What does that have to do with the Plume Hive?
IVY: When Lady Greselda started teaching me, I began trying to recreate that potion.
I'm certain that creepy purple cow was eating my pies, you see!
    Purple Cow: Moooo?
Old Thomas: Oh! Ahh... How troublesome... !
Did you ever find out what happened with your pies?
IVY: No... I figured out the potion, but too much time had passed.
    Old Thomas: *Whew!*

Ruler: Guys. Focus. Plume Hive? How is this going to help us?
IVY: Oh, right! Well, it's called the Fadeprint Elixir.
When you drink it, it shows you impressions of the recent past!
Ruler: Oh! So if one of us drinks it, we might see what happened at the Plume Hive?
IVY: That's right! We just need to brew it, then head to the Plume Hive and drink it!
Ruler: Great! Well, what are we waiting for? Let's start brewing!
IVY: Well... Unfortunately, there?s a key ingredient that I really need...
    ...

Preedle: ...Watcha lookin' at *us* for?
IVY: See, the key ingredient... It's Faerie dust! So--
Preedle: No way!!! I don't think so! You can find your Faerie dust somewhere else!!!
Ruler: Please, Preedle. We really need your help!
    Otherwise, we may never find--
Preedle: The Glimmerwood Faeries? Who would wanna help those brutes?!
*They're* the ones who put us all in danger!
It's their fault we're in this mess!
Fwipple: Preedle... I think we should consider it.
Preedle: What? Fwipple, you can't be serious... What they did to you... !
Fwipple: I... I know... But, we must be kind and understanding!
Preedle: *They* weren't very kind or understanding with us!
    They *attacked* you!!!
Fwipple: No matter what the Glimmers do, we Blythes must be true to ourselves!
Plus, if there's a threat out there, helping them also protects us, right?
Preedle: I... Alright, I guess you're right... Fine, we'll share our Faerie dust.
Ruler: Thank you, Preedle and Fwipple. I promise, we'll get to the bottom of this!

Ivy>This is a really complicated potion!
I'll need lots of Blythedust, Enchanter's Essence and Water.
...And keep that creepy cow OUT of here!!!
    6. A Potion From, And For, The Past - chop Blythewood Trees for Blythedust;
prepare the Fadeprint Elixir (The sooner we drink it, the better!)
Check the Fur Burrow (Make sure the Blythewood Faeries are OK!)

    Stargazer's Ridge

Distance is no match for true love!
Always, lovers will find a way to be together.
    Tonight, we celebrate that devotion!
Enjoy the evening together, dear star-crossed lovers!

Old Thomas: Oh? What is this?
Ah, it is a letter from my dear Agnes!
Let us see what she has to say...

    My Sweet Thomas,
I have some wonderful news to share with you!
My research here in Blythewood has been progressing quite well.
As a result, I have the luxury of planning a brief reprieve.
I thought, perhaps, I could come and visit you in Glimmerwood?
It would be so wonderful to finally see you after all these years!
Please, do let me know, and I will make the necessary arrangements.
I eagerly await your favourable response!
    Love, Agnes

OT: Oh, can it be true?
To at last see her once more... I would be a fool to refuse!
Ah, but there are arrangements of my own to make...
I must prepare a grand reception for my lovely Agnes!
It must be no less than perfect!
What to do, what to do... ?

OT>I know, I shall consult my friends!
The Young Ruler and Miss Ivy always have such good ideas with these sorts of things?
    1. A Delightful Surprise - visit ivy(Might I borrow a moment of your time... ?)
(I cannot wait to hear everyone's ideas!) Meet at Old Thomas House
OT> Thank you all for coming! Here is my problem...

IVY: Agnes is coming to visit?! Hooray! How exciting!
OT: I am quite excited myself! I cannot wait to see here after all these years...
Ruler: We should do something special to welcome her!
OT: Yes, that is why I brought you both here...
I am at a bit of a loss as to what to do. I was hoping you two might have ideas?
Ruler: I'm sure we can come up with something, Old Thomas.
What does she like to do? For fun, I mean.
    Does she have any hobbies?
OT: Well, she is a very quaint sort. Neither of us really cared for running about.
We did a lot of reading, and had the occasional picnic...
IVY: Oh! I have an idea! How about stargazing?
You have that big ol' telescope sticking out of your roof.
I bet you'd get a great view of the night sky from there!
OT: Ah! Yes, that is true! ...Though, if we are to stargaze?
I might try and make a night of it? An evening picnic, perhaps?
IVY: Ooo, I like that! That sounds very romantic!
Ruler: See? You know what you're doing, Old Thomas!
You just needed a little nudge in the right direction, is all.
OT: I suppose you are right, Young Ruler.
Thank you both for your assistance!

OT>Shall we begin with finding a good stargazing spot?
    2. Star-Crossed -find the Stargazer's Ridge
OT>Ah, yes! The view from here will be quite splendid!

Old Thomas: Hmm... I had best draft a response to Agnes!
    Let us see...
    My lovely Agnes,
It would be my truest delight to welcome you to Glimmerwood!
My heart flutters at the thought of finally seeing you after so long.
So much so, in fact, that I have already be*** preparing for your arrival!
I have a wonderful evening planned for us that I hope you will enjoy.
Please do let me know when you have made your travel arrangements!
Until then, I will continue to prepare for your arrival with rapt anticipation.
    With all my heart, Thomas

IVY: Aww... You two are so cute!
OT: Ah! M-Miss Ivy! I did not notice you standing there?
IVY: Sorry, I couldn't help myself! You really do love Agnes, don't ya?
    OT: Like none other!
IVY: I was wondering what you wanted to do next with the picnic location?
OT: Ah, hmm yes... Well, it is rather plain looking, I suppose...
We could decorate it with some floral accents?
IVY: That's a great idea! Let's bring some flowers to the Workshop.
We can make some really romantic arrangements there!

OT>I am so lucky to have such creative and talented friends!
With Miss Ivy's guidance, I am certain the flowers will look splendid!
    3. Making Arrangements -Romantic Blossoms. Get those flowers planted
(We need Purple, Orange, and Blue Petals)
OT>Hmm... We will need quite a few more flowers, I think!

Ruler: Hey guys! How's the ridge coming along?
    OT: Most wonderfully!
Miss Ivy here suggested the addition of blossoming flowers!
Ruler: That sounds great! Did you tell Agnes we'd love to have her over?
OT: I did! I sent my correspondence off this morning.
I hope to hear back from her soon.
I cannot wait for her arrival!
Ruler: I'm happy for you, Old Thomas!
You look like you're really enjoying all of this.
OT: Indeed I am, Young Ruler!
It has been quite a long time since these old bones felt so?
    ...so jovial! So energetic! So...
    IVY: ...in love? *grin*
    OT: *blush*
Ruler: Wait a minute. Old Thomas, you're going to be stargazing at night, right?
OT: Why, yes, of course. It is difficult to stargaze during the day!
Ruler: Won't it be difficult to see the flowers at night, though?
    OT: ...
    IVY: ...
    ...Oops...
Ruler: Don't worry, guys. I'm sure we can figure something out!
IVY: We'll need to give you two a bit of light to see the flowers?
OT: ...But not so much it would drown out the stars.
    Hmm...
IVY: Maybe a bit of magic can do the trick?
OT: Ah, yes! If we gave the flowers just a touch of sparkle...
That would be most lovely, I think!
    IVY: Yeah!
Plus, it'll kinda look like you're sitting among the twinkling starts!
OT: Ah, yes! I love it! Miss Ivy, you are a creative genius!
    IVY: Aww, shucks!
Ruler: Great work, you two! Let's go find us some magic!

OT>I suggest we use a special kind of dust--Twinkle Dust, to be exact!
It gives off more sparkle than Glimmerdust, so it should work great for out flowers.
    4. Shedding Some Light (Extract Twinkle Dust)
We'll grind it out of Silver Ore and Jewels! Let's make those flowers gleam!
OT>Beautiful! I cannot wait to see how these flowers look under the night sky!

Ruler: Wow! The flowers look amazing, guys!
OT: Yes, they *are* quite lovely, are they not?
    Just like Agnes!
IVY: I bet Agnes will really love them!
    OT: I hope so!
    Ruler: So what's next?
OT: Well, I suppose all that is left is to ready the proper stargazing equipment.
    A telescope, to be exact!
IVY: Ooo, this sounds like fun! What do we need?
OT: Well, according to scroll J217.....
...erm... Oh, dear, not another one... !
Ruler: Don't worry, Old Thomas. We'll find your scroll!
    In the meantime...
Why don't we add a little more sparkle?
So it'll be truly magical for your date!
    OT: Ah, yes! A splendid--
    W-Wait, a date, you say?
Oh, no. no no no, this is simply a pleasant evening--
IVY: --for you and Agnes to catch up, get to know each other,
    hopefully grow closer?
    OT: ...W-Well... Yes... *blush*
    Ruler: Alright, enough teasing.
    Lets make some magic!

OT>All of this is so embarrassing!
I feel like I am a student once more, working up the nerve to speak to Agnes...
Though, I admit there is indeed a bit of fun to it all!
    5. The Better To Adore You With - search the house
(We must follow those plans exactly!). Alright, I admit it... It is a date!
OT>Ah, my scroll! Perfect, now we may begin construction of the telescope!

OT: Moving down from the top...
The next thing we need for our telescope is a set of shiny orbs!
IVY: What? What are those for?
OT: Oh, they are not really *for* anything, Miss Ivy.
But a proper telescope should be just as decorative as it is functional!
IVY: Oh. Alright, is suppose you've got a point...
Well, what kind of orbs were you thinking of?
OT: They say you can see distant worlds through the telescope described in J347.
The scroll goes into further detail about some of those worlds!
I was hoping we could fashion something after those descriptions.
IVY: Ooo, I see! So you guys have a model of what you're looking for up there?
    OT: Yes, precisely!
IVY: That's a really neat idea, Old Thomas! Alright, I'm on board!
So, shiny orbs, huh? I probably have some colourful baubles in my hut...
...but I have a feeling you want something *special* for your date, huh?
OT: *blush* Y-Yes, that would be ideal!
IVY: In that case, why don't we mine some rocks and look for special jewels?
If we look hard enough, I'm sure we'll find the perfect orbs for you telescope!
OT: A splendid notion! Let us begin our search immediately!

OT>Mining a Glimmer Rock Formation or clearing a Dark Cave Formation will get us what we need!
We can also try our luck with Rock Outcroppings.
6a. Over The Moon - find the Orb Jewels ( Let's mine some rocks!)
And visit a jeweler ( I bet they'll come up with a great decoration!)
(Entrust the Jewelers with our shinies!)
OT> Oh, how beautiful! They will pale in comparison to Agnes, though!

    OT: Splendid! Now, then...
First things first, we will need the viewing glass, of course!
Ruler: Okay, that shouldn't be too hard. If we bring the materials to the Workshop--
OT: No no, that will not do! The viewing glass must be *perfect*!
Ruler: You sound like you have something in mind?
    OT: I do!
One of my scrolls, J347 to be exact, relates to the Ancient Vault.
It details, among other things, a few items which may be found there.
Ruler: Ahh, I see. And I'm guessing one of those things is a telescope?
OT: That is right, Young Ruler!
The rest of it is likely too old for use, however...
They say this particular telescope's viewing glass is the best in all the lands!
Some legends say this viewing glass is so powerful....
...you can even see other worlds out there among the stars!
    Ruler: Other worlds? No way!
OT: It is true, Young Ruler!
In any case, Agnes deserves the absolute best.
I must insist on retrieving this ancient viewing glass!
Ruler: Alright, Old Thomas. We'll get you that viewing glass.
But when all of this is over, I want to look through the telescope, too!

OT>I admit, I am also a bit sceptical as to the validity of such rumors,
but would it not be exciting to see for ourselves?
6b. Setting Distant Sights - find the telescope viewing glass
(Only the best for Agnes... To the Ancient Vault!)

OT: And last, but definitely not least...
Our telescope will need a stand to be set upon!
Ruler: Hmm... We're going to need something really stable and steady.
IVY: Yeah! It won't be very pleasant if your telescope keeps falling over.
OT: We may want to enlist the help of the kingdom?s finest artisans.
That... could get quite pricey, though?
Ruler: I don't think that'll be a problem, Old Thomas.
OT: Are... Are you sure, Young Ruler?
I want everything to be perfect, for sure!
But I hesitate to think I may cause you undue expense...
IVY: Nothing is too expensive when it comes to true love!
    Ruler: Well... I wouldn?t say *nothing* ...
...but, I'm confident we'll find sufficient compensation for our artisans.

OT>You are most generous, Young Ruler!
To go to such lengths for my romance... !
6c. Unshakable Devotion - give 3 golden nuggets
(That should be plenty to buy as a good stand!)
    OT>Yes, yes, this is perfect!
The perfect base for a steady viewing of the night sky!

    Ruler: Alright, Old Thomas!
Do we have everything we need to make the telescope?
    OT: Let us see...
One viewing glass, the best in all the lands?
Ruler: Check! It was a bit dusty from the Ancient Vault, but we cleaned it up.
    OT: Wonderful! Next?
One set of shiny orbs, to decorate the telescope and guide our viewing?
IVY: Right here! The jewelers did a really great job with them!
OT: Indeed, they did! Which leaves us with?
One stand, strong and sturdy, made by our finest artisan?
IVY: Hmm... let's see?...I don't see any stands around here...
OT: O-Oh dear, did we misplace it... ?
Ruler: She's only kidding, Old Thomas. It's right here, ready to go!
OT: Whew! You had me there, Miss Ivy!
    IVY: I couldn't help myself!
Jokes aside, though, it looks like we're ready to build ourselves a telescope!
OT: Splendid! Thank you both for all your help!
Ruler: Anything for a friend, Old Thomas!
IVY: Yeah, especially a friend *in love*!
    OT: *blush!!!*

OT>I cannot wait until Agnes arrives, and I can share with her the sight of the night sky!
I hope she will be most pleased!
    7. Seeing Stars - craft the Telescope (We can entrust this task to our Workshop!)
    OT> Perfect. It is perfect!
Let us place it upon the Stargazer's Ridge immediately!

OT: Ah! A response from Agnes! Let us see what she has to say?

    Dearest Thomas,
I am thrilled to receive such an eager and warm welcome to the Glimmerwood!
You always pour so much of your heart and soul into your work.
Though I know not what you have planned for me, I know it will be most grand!
Your excitement brightens me, no less so today than all those years ago.
I will make my travel arrangements at once!
You will be the first to know when my plans have been made.
Wishing you the best, with a heart filled with love,
    Agnes

OT>The time when my beloved Agnes arrives in the Glimmerwood cannot come soon enough!
But first, it is time at last to complete the Stargazer's Ridge!
    8. For Agnes, With Love - Place the Telescope atop the Stargazer's Ridge!
OT>Ah, it is absolutely wonderful! I hope Agnes will like it?
Thank you so much for your help!

    Ivy's Petting Zoo (EVENT)

    Chapter 1
Ivy> Man, we sure do have a ton of animals! Unfortunately, not all of them can be of much use on our farms. Still, there's gotta be some way for them to be a bigger part of our kingdom. Why don't we ask around for ideas? Between that and caring for the animals, we're sure to think of something!
    1. visit Cottages (Any ideas?)
    2. visit Kingdoms (Let's ask the Community!)
    3. tend horses (Find some inspiration... )

    Chapter 2
Ivy> I got it! Let's build a Petting Zoo! That way, the younger animals can help bring cheer to the kingdom's children, and help teach the, about caring for animals. I bet that'd make lots of the kingdom's families real happy! To start things off, we'll need to collect some Fresh Hay. We can find some from Farmhouses, Stables, Hatcheries, and Wheat crops!
    1. find Fresh Hay (Check Stables and Hatcheries!) A soft bed of hay, perfect for animals to sit upon!
    2. purchase the Petting Zoo (a market purchase) A fun place for the kingdom's children to meet and learn about young farm animals!
    3. have a level 1 petting zoo

    Chapter 3
Old Thomas> What a wonderful proposition! It is going to be a lot of work getting a Petting Zoo up and running, though.
Are you up to the challenge, Young Ruler? Before we get much further, we should plan the enclosure that will hold our Petting Zoo's animals.
The first step will be deciding on the right color for the enclosure!
Something bright and easy to spot, perhaps?
    1. plant Iceland Poppies (These drop White Petals!)
    2. gather White Petals ( )
    3. make White Dye (Head to the Potion Shop!)

    Chapter 4

Old Thomas> An excellent choice, Young Ruler! White will stand out very nicely against the animals! While you were working on the dye, I drew up these plans for the enclosure, I hope you will find them sufficient? I propose we make the enclosure with wood planks in the layout here, on scroll K364.
Shall we begin with the foundation?
1.chop down Trees ( We'll need lots of wood!)
    2. make White Planks (Head to the Workshop!)
    3. have a level 2 petting zoo

    Chapter 5
Ivy> We're almost ready to start gathering the animals! Before we do, though, we need to make sure we'll have ample space for them to live when they're not in the Petting Zoo. Let's make sure our Farmhouses, Stables, and Hatcheries are up to speed.
Remember to collect some Fresh Hay when you visit them!
    1. have level 5 Farmhouses ( )
    2. have level 5 Stables ( )
    3. have level 5 Hatcheries ( )

    Chapter 6
Old Thomas> Our farmers have be*** get the Petting Zoo's animals settled into their new accommodations! It is time at last for us to get our enclosure built. This task will call for more White Planks and Fresh Hay. I suggests we additionally enlist the expertise of our farmers and stablemen! Perhaps if we assist them by providing some animal-based goods, they will lend a hand with construction
    1. give Rope (Will you help us build?)
    2. make White Planks (back to the Workshop)
    3. have a Level 3 petting zoo

    Chapter 7
Ivy> All this work sure is giving me an appetite! I bet the farmers and the stablemen feel the same. Why don't we take a little break from construction? If we don't keep ourselves well-fed and energized, we could really mess up the Petting Zoo!
    1. have Fish ( )
    2. harvest Corn ( )
    3. harvest Carrots (Used to cook Animal Feed)

    Chapter 8
Old Thomas> We are not the only ones who must stay well-fed, Young Ruler! The Petting Zoo's animals will also need to be well-fed, if they are to remain active enough to play with the kingdom's children. Let us prepare some meals both for the animals and for ourselves. The workers have said they will provide us with some more building materials in return for a filling feast!
    1. give spicy feasts (Feed our workers!)
    2. cook Animal Feed (Head to the Kitchen!)
    3. have a Level 4 Petting Zoo (tap to upgrade)

    Chapter 9
Ivy> Hooray! We're so close to finishing the Petting Zoo! Aren't you excited? I think we got a bit overzealous with construction, though.. The Petting Zoo can handle more animals than we've got! Luckily, the solution to this problem is pretty simple... More animals!!!
    1. raise Cows ( We need more animals... )
    2. raise Pigs ( )
    3. buy 10 Horses ( )

    Chapter 10
Old Thomas> Are you ready to at last open the Petting Zoo to the public, Young Ruler? I think it is about time we spread the word! Let us pay our neighbors a visit, and spread the word in our kingdom's Market Place!
    1. visit Kingdoms (Tell the Community!)
    2. Visit Market Places (Come visit our Petting Zoo!)
    3. have a Level 5 Petting Zoo

Congratulations! The Grand Prize is yours!
You completed the Petting Zoo before time ran out!
    Here's your prize - a second, fully-upgraded Petting Zoo!

    The Season of Luck

Look all around you! Under every clover, over every rainbow, there's something in the air! Could it be some new kind of magic? Know this: whatever it is, it is sure to bring good fortune!

    Part A
    Ruler: Hmm...
Old Thomas: Does something trouble you, Young Ruler?
Ruler: Oh, no! Much the opposite, actually.
I woke up this morning feeling much better than usual!
Old Thomas: Ah! Yes, as did it!
That is the magic of the Season of Luck, Young Ruler!
    Ruler: The Season of Luck?
Old Thomas: It is a wonderful time where Lucky Magic is ripe in all things.
Crops give higher yield, animals are healthier, the weather remains pleasant...
Nothing too fancy, but all things which make the Glimmerwood just a bit nicer!
Ruler: Is that why all the citizens seem to be decorating with gold and lucky clovers?
Old Thomas: Indeed it is, Young Ruler!
Ruler: I see! It sounds like fun. We should join in!
Old Thomas: A splendid notion! What would you propose?
Ruler: Well... maybe we can make something to help the people celebrate?
Old Thomas: Ah, I know just the thing! Why not construct a Parade Float?
Ruler: Oh, yeah! Everyone loves parades, a float would be great!
Old Thomas: Excellent! Let me just find the right scroll...

OT>Ahh, here we are! Scroll J324--the Parade Float
    1. The Season of Luck - place the parade float (you can find this in the Market)
Build the parade float (tap on it to complete)
OT>It is a bit plain at present, but I am sure we will find ways to improve it!

IVY: A pleasant Season of Luck to ya, Ruler!
Ruler: And to you as well, Ivy!
I guess you and your sister celebrated the Season of Luck a lot?
IVY: Absolutely! The Season of Luck is a big deal for anyone involved with magic!
Ruler: What do you usually do to celebrate?
IVY: Well, they say brewing is more successful during the Season of Luck.
    Ruler: ...So... you two... ?
IVY: Try not to blow up the cauldron.
    Ruler: Ah. Wonderful.
IVY: It's a lot of fun! We've come up with a lot of new potions over the years!
Ruler: Well, that's good! But I don't know how I feel about you risking our kitchens.
IVY: Yeah... Maybe we should just see what the citizens are doing?

Ivy>I'm excited to see how the Parade Float turns out.
Hopefully, it'll bring the kingdom lots of luck!
    2. In The Market For Luck - upgrade the float (What else can we add to it?) How do our citizens celebrate? Ask around the market place.
Ivy>There are so man ways to celebrate good luck!

    Ruler: ...Old Thomas?
Old Thomas: Ah! Hello, Young Ruler! How may I be of service?
    Ruler: Oh, well, It's just..
...Why are you staring into this pond?
Old Thomas: Ah, it seems I have yet to tell you of the Mermaid's Luck!
Ruler: Nope, don't recall hearing about that. What is it?
Old Thomas: Ancient legends speak of the mermaids and their magic.
Ruler: Oh, you mean like Princess Lorelei?
Old Thomas: Yes! Princess Lorelei is the mermaid most folks know about.
It is said that when one gazes upon her kind--a mermaid, that is!
--they will be blessed with good fortune!
Ruler: Neat! So, you're mermaid watching?
Old Thomas: That is correct, Young Ruler!
Now, most believe that mermaids are merely fairy tales.
But, if they do exist, the best chance to spot one is during the Season of Luck!
Ruler: I thought you were in the "mermaids aren't real" camp, Old Thomas?
    Old Thomas: Oh, I am.
But there is nothing wrong with a bit of fun, is there?

Old Thomas>Even if they are not real, fairy tales are wonderful ways to keep ordinary life fun and interesting!
    3. Looking For Fortune - gather Leprechaun Coins(Do we have enough luck?) and search Ponds (Do you see any mermaids?)
Old Thomas>Alas, I did not see any mermaids. I think I will try again tomorrow!

IVY: Say! Do you know your lucky symbols?
Ruler: I know a few, I think. 4-leaf clovers, golden coins?
    IVY: Black cats, ladders?
Ruler: ...I don't think most people find those things to be lucky, Ivy.
IVY: Aww. Why not? Black cats are cute!
Ruler: Anyway, I'm guessing you had an idea to do with lucky symbols?
    IVY: Oh! Right!
We should add something lucky to our Parade Float!
    Ruler: That's a great idea!
Let's stick with something more festive than black cats and ladders, though...

    Ivy>How about a rainbow? That's lucky, right?
3a. Lucky Colors - 3 days to upgrade float to level 3 (Add a rainbow to the float!)
Note: You do not have to complete this quest to continue. However, the rewarded resource will be useful.
    Reward is Lucky Clovers.
Ivy>It's so bright and vibrant! I hope the citizens like it!

    IVY: Aww...
    Ruler: What's wrong, Ivy?
IVY: I just got back from foraging through the Glimmerwood.
Ruler: Oh, yeah? Did you find anything?
    IVY: Just these dumb pearls!
Ruler: ...Pearls? In the forest? That sounds pretty lucky, to me!
IVY: What am I going to do with pearls? Pearls don't have any Lucky Magic!
    Ruler: Oh, okay. Well?
Maybe someone else in the kingdom would like those pearls?
IVY: Hmm... That's a good idea! Jewelers like pearls, right.
    Ruler: Definitely!

Ivy>Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get to the Jewelers and trade these pearls for something lucky!
    4. One Person's Pearls, Another Person's Swine- upgrading Parade Float to lv.4 (It's almost ready for the finishing touches!) visit some Jewelers (Can we interest you in some pearls?)
Ivy>Hooray! This is MUCH luckier than pearls!

Ruler: Wow, a lot of luck sure came our way this season!
IVY: I'll say! Just look at all the Lucky Clover and Lucky Magic we got!
Ruler: You think it'll be enough for us to take to the Lucky Workshop?
Old Thomas: It should be enough for at least one exchange, Young Ruler!
IVY: Why don't we go give it a try and see what we get?
Ruler: Sounds like a plan to me. I hope our season's luck hasn't run out, yet!

Ivy>We should have enough Lucky Clover and Lucky Magic for a single try at the Lucky Workshop!
    5. The Lucky Trade -have a lucky workshop (remember to place the workshop) ; complete a Lucky Trade (Exchange your luck for something nice? ! )

    5a. Mermaid Melodies

    ==*==

    Part B The LUCKY WORKSHOP

    Ruler: Huh? That's a strange-looking building...
IVY: Ooo, could it be? It looks like a Lucky Workshop!
Ruler: That sounds cool! But... what does it do?
IVY: It's a place where people can exchange their Lucky Clover and Lucky Magic!
Ruler: Interesting... What sorts of things will they give you?
IVY: Rare supplies golden items... all kinds of neat things!
Old Thomas: Yes, I too have heard of the Lucky Workshop's good fortune!
Having one in our kingdom would be a great benefit, Young Ruler>
Ruler: Alright, I'm sold! Let's see if we can get one set up!

Old Thomas>A Lucky Workshop could provide our kingdom with many valuable goods!
    1. The Lucky Workshop - Get a Lucky Workshop -A crafting Building that turns luck into a chance for rare items. (This is the 3rd prize for the Season of Luck Event!)
Old Thomas: Congratulations, Young Ruler! Your kingdom is now home to our very own Lucky Workshop!

    IVY: Wow, isn't THIS lucky!
Ruler: Huh? What is it, Ivy?
IVY: Check it out! We can get seeds to plant and harvest our own Lucky Clover
Ruler: Wow, that's great news! Let's get them and start planting right away!

Ivy>If we can grow our own Lucky Clover, we'll have plenty to exchange at the Lucky Workshop!
    2. Lucky Clover - Unlock Lucky Clover (this is the 4th prize from the Season of Luck Event)
    Plant & Harvest Lucky Clover.

    >A Lucky Cauldron will supply us with the Lucky Magic we need for the Lucky Workshop
    3. Lucky Magic

    Note: still working on goals

    Search and Rescue, Part 1

Trouble abounds throughout the Glimmerwood! Rest will come when all has been set right!
Once the impressions of the past have been revealed, new clues and information may surface as to what precisely happened.
Lady Luck be with us in our search, as we get to the bottom of who would commit such an atrocity! Let us hope we find our missing friends swiftly...

IVY: Alright! You ready to go find out just what happened at the Plume Hive?
Ruler: As ready as I'll ever be. I'm a bit nervous about what we might find...
Old Thomas: Normally, I would advise that you take your time...
...However, in this case, time is of the essence!
The longer we delay, the less effective the Fadeprint Elixir will be.
Ruler: Yeah, you're right, Old Thomas. I can't afford to delay.
And anyways, no amount of worrying will change what happened.
Okay. It's now or never! Who all is going with us to the Plume Hive?
Sabina: I feel as though I absolutely must! And Miss Ivy, as well.
IVY: Yeah. We can point you in the right direction based on what we found, and where!
OT: I feel I will be of most use here. I am intrigued by the magic strands we found.
I may be able to find records of similar substances used in the past!
Ruler: Good idea, Old Thomas! Let us know what you find when we return.
    Okay? Ivy, Sabina? Let's go!

Ivy>We gotta hurry if we want to make the most use of the Fadeprint Elixir!
    1. A Link To The Past
    (To the scene of the crime!) return to the Plume Hive;
drink the Fadeprint Elixir (Time to find out what happened... !)
Ivy>Whoa, there! You feeling OK? You look a bit woozy...

    Ruler: Ugghhh... My head...
IVY: Oh, jeez. Okay, maybe we should stop with the mind-altering potions.
Ruler: No, no, I'll be fine. I just need a moment to--
    ...huh? Hey! Who's there?!
Sabina: Hmm? I don't see anything?
IVY: Oh! It's the elixir! It's working!
Ruler: Oh? This is really weird. There's a couple shadows over there.
IVY: Yes, that's the effects of the Fadeprint Elixir! What do you see?
Ruler: Well, there's... there's a few figures... They appear to be struggling!
Sabina: Oh, no! That must be the faeries! Can you tell what they look like?
Ruler: Some of the shadows are definitely faeries--they must be the Glimmerwood Faeries.
With them... I... it's too faint for me to see much, but it's definitely human!
Wait! No, no! This is bad?
IVY: What is it? What's happening?
Ruler: It's... It's the Faeries... The human figure managed to subdue them, and...
Sabina: And what? Are they ok?
Ruler: They're... fine, I think... but, the human was able to capture them in a net.
IVY: The net whose weird strings came from! They used it to capture the faerie?
Ruler: Yes. The human is carrying them off, now? Guys, this is really bad...
Sabina: Someone seized the Glimmerwood Faeries? Who would do such a horrible thing?
Ruler: I don't know, but we're going to find out, and we're going to rescue them!
The struggle started here, by the Magic Garden, and moved towards the forest.
IVY: Alright, well that's a better lead than we had before!
We'll search that area especially well this time and get to the bottom of this!

Ivy>Keep looking for clues! We know where the conflict happened now,
so there's got to be something here that will tell us who attacked the Glimmerwood Faeries!
    2. Glimmerwood Private Investigators, Inc. Find Clues!
(Search every rock, bush, flower, and tree!)

Sabina: Oh, no, this poor flower! It has been completely crushed!
Ruler: Hmm... This appears to have happened from the struggle...
Sabina: Perhaps Lady Greselda will be able to tell us how it was crushed?
Ruler: It's worth a try! Let's bring it back with us, and see what she thinks.

Ruler: Look, over here! There's a piece of cloth hanging on this bush!
IVY: Hmm... It looks kind of familiar, doesn't it?
Ruler: Yeah, but I can't recall where I've seen this pattern before...
Ivy: Maybe the others will have better luck?
Ruler: Hopefully. Let's hold onto it and bring it back with us.

IVY: Hey, guys! Come check out this rock!
Sabina: Oh my, it is quite scratched up... What do you supposed happened?
Ruler: I don't know, but I'd say it's a sure sign of struggle.
Sabina: It may have happened during the conflict between the Faeries and their captor!
Ruler: I'll say! Maybe Sir Thurston can tell us something from the strike pattern?
Ivy> Interesting finds... but what do they *mean*?

Old Thomas: Welcome back, Young Ruler!
Did it work? Were you able to see what happened?
Ruler: It did. Unfortunately, couldn't see much...
But, it was enough to pint us in the right direction!
Old Thomas: Oh? Were you all able to find more clues about the incident?
IVY: Yeah! I found this rock, and Sabina found a crushed flower!
Sabina: Yes, yes! We believe they were damaged during the conflict!
The Young Ruler was also able to find a piece of torn cloth.
OT: Cloth? That sounds like quite the promising find!
Ruler: We hope so! We think it may have come from whoever took the Faeries.

Preedle: So the Faeries *were* kidnapped, huh? Good!
    Serves 'em right!
Fwipple: Preedle, please... If nothing else, remember they could be after us as well!
We need to find out what happened, for our own sake as well as theirs...
Preedle: Fine, fine. But still, we've got... What, a flower, a rock, and an hankey?
What's *that* gonna tell us about some Faerie-napping crook?
Ruler: We were hoping Lady Greselda might discern something from the flower.
Lady G: That pile of wilted petals? I'm a witch, dear, not a psychic.
Ruler: Well, then... Sir Thurston? What do you think of these scratches?
Thurston: My Liege! According to the Knight's Code, Rule 94:
Thou shalt be well-versed in all a sword's ways of cutting and scratching!
    Ruler: Great!
    Thurston: ...
    Ruler: ...Sir Thurston?
Thurston: ...Alas, My Liege, I have never been very good at it.
Ruler: Alright. It looks like we need to come at this from a different angle.
OT: I have an ample supply of protractors back at my house!
Ruler: ...Not that kind of angle, Old Thomas.
    OT: Oh...
Ruler: We need to loo at everything as a whole. Take in the big picture.
IVY: I used to paint when I was little!
    Ruler: No...
What I mean is, we need to bring all our clues together and study them as one.
Lady G: Simply put, dears... We need a tracker.

Ivy>Oh, of course! A tracker! Luckily, I think we have just the guy for the job. Trolls are huge on hunting, right?
    3. Back To The Present - Enlist Kaz's help (There's no way he's still angry, right!)
Ivy> Well, here goes nothing! Maybe... don't mention the faeries...

    KAZ: Oh, its you.
Ruler: Hey, Kaz! How're you doing?
KAZ: Find. What do you want?
IVY: Jeez, can't we pay you a visit without having an agenda?
    KAZ: ...
Ruler: Okay, okay. The truth is, we were hoping you would take a look at something.
KAZ: That depends on what it is.
Ruler: Here, it's some stuff we found... near a struggle of some kind...
We're trying to find out what happened.
KAZ: Hmm... Yeah, something bad definitely happened.
These scratches don't look wild. And no animal would crush a flower like this?
Wait... Is there FAERIE DUST on this cloth?!
    Ruler: Uhh... There might be?
KAS: I TOLD you! I'm DONE dealing with Faeries!!!
    Ruler: Wait! Kaz!!!

Ivy>Ugh, why does this always happen? He's just as bad as Sir Thurston and Trolls!
    Er... Sorry, Sir Thurston...
    4. Troll Trust - check the Swampy Pond (Did he go for a relaxing swim?)
(Blow off some steam with a spar?) check the Troll Pit.
(Maybe he just went to his other home... ) check the Troll Castle.
Ivy> There he is--entering the Troll Castle! Hey, Kaz! Wait up!!!

KAZ: When will you people get it through your heads?
I am NOT getting involved with any more dust-headed Faeries!!!
Ruler: Kaz, they're in trouble! We have to try and he--
KAZ: No! They CAUSED all of this trouble! They deserve whatever they've got comin?!
Preedle: Yeah! Finally, someone actually makin' sense around here!
    KAZ: Eh? Who are *you*?
Preedle: The name's Preedle, and I'm with you!
Ain't no way we should be stickin' our necks on the line for the Glimmers!
KAZ: Don't *you* go includin' ME in that "we" of yours!
For all I know, you're just as bad!
Preedle: What?! You can't be serious!
Fwipple: Preedle, he's right! Holding a grudge like this and abandoning your fellows...
When we do that, how are we any different from Lady Ivinea?
KAZ: Heh. See? Even Faeries don't like other Faeries!
Fwipple: *You're* not behaving much better, you know!
KAZ: Huh? You got somethin' to say to me, dustbag?
    Fwipple: Yeah, I do!
Preedle: Fwipple, calm down. You're still weak from--
    Fwipple: I don't care!
These good people are trying to do everything they can to help us--ALL of us!
I might be small, and I may not be capable of much...
...but I want to help others, and be a good Faerie!
And I'm certainly not going to let the misbehaviour of others excuse my own!
KAZ: I gotta admit, pixie, you got spunk. So, I tell ya what--I'll consider it.
You go back and rest up, and I'll think on it here in our Castle.

Thurston>What a display! Did you see the way little Fwipple handled that brutish Kaz? Truly inspiring!!!
    5. Fwipple The Good - take Fwipple back to Sabina's house (She really should try to get more rest... )
Meet Kaz at the Troll Castle (Let's see what he has to say *now*...)
    Thurston>Worry not, My Liege!
My sword remains at the ready, should Kaz remain unswayed!

Ruler: Hey, Kaz. Have you had enough time to think it over?
KAZ: Yeah, I have. Here's what I've decided...
The pixie's right. No matter what the Faeries do to us, we Trolls have honor.
I'll help you figure out whatever it is you're trying to figure out.
    Ruler: Great! We found--
KAZ: BUT... I have a condition.
Ruler: Oh, right... Of course. What is it?
KAZ: The fact remains, we're still hurting from the Dire Boar attacks.
Mush of our land was destroyed, and our warriors are wounded and spent.
Ruler: Mmm, I see... Is there anything we can do to help?
KAZ: Right now, your kingdom has far more resources than ours does.
You have the materials and workers needed to rebuild our lands.
You do this for us, and in return I will assist your investigation.
Ruler: Thank you, Kaz. Just point us where you need help, and we'll do what we can.

Kaz>Our greatest need right now is a way to train our young. Once they're up to snuff, they can help out around here.
If you can get us set up with a new training grounds, they can take it from there.
    6. Deal Or No Deal? Purchase a troll training grounds(The Trolls need a place to train their young!)
upgrade the grounds (Get the young warriors well-established!)
(They need new weapons... ) give Longswords; give Golden Nuggets (They can buy new supplies with this!)
    Kaz> Hmm... It's definitely not Troll-made, but...

Ruler: So? What do you think?
KAZ: It's a bit bland, and the training dummies don't look all that sturdy...
    Ruler: ...
KAZ: ...But, it's well-equipped. I suppose it'll get the job done.
    Ruler: Great!
KAZ: Everything it lacks, we can purchase with that gold.
Ruler: Er... Good, I'm sure it'll work out...
So, anyway... Does this mean you're willing to help us out, now?
KAZ: A deal's a deal. Show me what you've got, and I'll see what I can do.

Kaz>Sorry if I sound harsh. I'm under a lot of pressure dealing with the damage from the Dire Boars.
Now that we've got the training ground, though, I can spare some time to help you out.
    7. Close Enough - give Kaz the crushed flower (There's a strong scent of magic on this?)
give the scratched rock (What could have caused those scratches?) give the torn cloth (Likely from the culprit... Familiar, too... )
Kaz>This is an odd assortment of scraps, but I think I've got a lead...

    To Be Continued...

    Good Ol' Glimmermouth

A monstrous beast! reported the Lake Patrol. Sound a little fishy...
See for yourself, be prepared to Go Fishin' and catch this fabled fish!

Thurston: My Liege! I have important news from the Lake Patrol!
Ruler: We have a Lake Patrol?
Thurston: Of course! According to the Knight's Code, Rule 72:
Stay alert! Thy enemies may approacheth by sea as well as by land!
Ruler: Fair enough. So, what's the report? Did they spot any enemies?
    Thurston: Nay, My Liege.
Rather, it seems one of the lakes is home to quite a large fish!
Ruler: How large are we talking?
Thurston: One of the knights claims it swallowed a sword whole, and barely batted an eye!
Ruler: ...I'm pretty sure fish can't bat their eyes.
Anyway, it sounds like this fish is quite the monstrosity!
What do you advise we do, Sir Thurston?
Thurston: There's only on thing to be done about fish this huge, My Liege:
    Cook them!
Ruler: Sounds like a plan to me! But first, we'll need to catch one.
Thurston: The Lake Patrol will hunt down these beasts, and slay them where they swim!
Ruler: ...Considering you just said it ate one of your knights' swords...
Why don't we consult with Old Thomas about it?

Old Thomas>A giant fish, you say? What a marvel!
Catching one will require the proper equipment. First off, the bait!
Perhaps you are familiar with this old addage: "Use small fish to catch a bigger one!"
    1. Fish Tale (Check Mermaid Ponds, Ponds, and Rustic Wells!) catch a Blue Fish.
Old Thomas>Ah! This little fish will serve our needs very nicely!

Ruler: Alright, Old Thomas, we've got our fish! Now what?
Old Thomas: Now, we make the bait! This is the tricky part.
The best bait will look lively enough to attract the fish...
...but not so much it scares the fish off!
Ruler: You seem to know a lot about fishing, Old Thomas.
Old Thomas: I may not look it, but I was quite the fisherman in my youth, Young Ruler!
It requires a lot of practice, patience, and the right equipment.
We can make the equipment easily enough, but the rest must come with time.
Ruler: Alright, if you say so. What other equipment do we need, then?
Old Thomas: Well, we require a Fishing Pole, of course!
Judging by the Lake Patrol's reports detailing the fish's size...
I think we would benefit from a Fishing Net as well.
Ruler: That sounds easy enough! I'll get the craftsmen on it right away!

Old Thomas>Once we have prepared all the necessary equipment,
we will be able to embark on our very first Royal Fishing Trip! Is it not exciting, Young Ruler?
    2. Old Fisherman Thomas - craft some bait (Bring the Blue Fish to the Magic Forge!)
craft a fishing pole (The Workshop makes these from Sugar Cane!)
craft a fishing net (Bring Rope to the Workshop to make this!)
Old Thomas>Equipped with these items, I am certain we will catch the Lake Patrol's fabled fish!

Thurston: My Liege! Are you certain we can catch that fish with these things?
Ruler: Why not? Old Thomas seems to have confidence in them.
Thurston: Glimmermouth is no plain fish, My Liege! He is a true beast, a terror to behold!
    Ruler: ... 'Glimmermouth...' ?
Thurston: 'Tis what the Lake Patrol has taken to calling him, My Liege.
Ruler: Sir Thurston, have you actually seen this fish the patrol is telling you about?
Thurston: I... Erm... N-No, My Liege...
Ruler: Why don't we just give it a try and see how it goes?
Worst case, we come back empty-handed and try again later.
    Thurston: With swords and steeds?
Ruler: Swords, yes. Steeds... I don't think they'd fare well in the lake.
    Thurston: Oh. Right.

Thurston>Feast thine eyes upon mine bait, pole, and net, O Glimmermouth, and tremble before My Liege!
    3. Good Ol' Glimmermouth - Go Fishin' using either Plain or Super Bait;
Adventure to Go Fishin' to catch Glimmermouth!
Thurston>Hark! Be that the horrid Glimmermouth?
He is... smaller than I had thought...

Old Thomas: How was your fishing trip, Young Ruler?
Ruler: Great! Did you see the fish we caught? Glimmermouth is really big!
Not quite like Sir Thurston thought, but still much larger than regular fish.
Old Thomas: I am pleased to hear the trip was a success!
I feel I must emphasize, however, the importance of the bait you use!
Ruler: Yeah. Without it, we wouldn't have been able to lure Glimmermouth in.
Old Thomas: Plain Bait will suit your needs well enough.
To make the most of your trip, however, I must insist upon using Super Bait!
Ruler: That's going to require a lot of Blue Fish to make so much bait...
Old Thomas: Might I suggest an alternative, Young Ruler?
By constructing a Bait Market, you can skip the Blue Fish altogether!
Not only that, but a Bait Market will be better at their trade than our workers.
You will always get a Super Bait from a Bait Market, and perhaps more!
Ruler: Hmm... Alright, I'll think about it!

Old Thomas>The Bait Market will provide us with a steady source of Super Bait.
If we're lucky, they may have a second bait to spare, or even the occasional Glimmermouth!
    4. The Bait Market - Place a Bait Market (200 gem buy in the Market)
Old Thomas>I am certain this will prove to be an excellent investment, Young Ruler!

Thurston: ...Is that him, My Liege?
    Ruler: Yup. It sure is.
Thurston: He looks... larger than normal, to be sure, but...
Ruler: Not much of a 'terror to behold,' huh?
Thurston: I admit, it seems the Lake Patrol's reports were a bit... exaggerated...
    Ruler: Yeah. A bit.
But that's alright, it was still a great discovery!
Thurston: You truly think so, My Liege?
Ruler: Sure! This is way more fish than we usually get from out ponds and wells.
Thurston: Yes, 'tis! Does My Liege believe the kitchens can make good use of Glimmermouth?
Ruler: I do! Shall we go see what we can get out of this guy?
    Thurston: Right away, My Liege!

Ivy>Wow, this fish is gigantic! You got this from a nearby lake?
