Can't get to beehive since water garden update

I am level 30, playing on iPad 3, newest iOS and newest FS update...

I've been saving my coins for the beehive expansion, and I finally got enough today! YAY! However, now when I go to open the expansion, it tells me I need to be level 30. But I AM level 30. I was able to see the expansion requirements before downloading the newest update, and now I can't even do that.

Is anyone else having this problem, and/or know how to fix it?

Here's a screenshot of what happens. Notice that it says I need to be level 30 AND shows that I AM level 30. So confusing.

Have you done the expansions leading up to the beehive?

I don't know what that means. There is a clear space of land next to the beehive and the quest is waiting in my to do list. I was able to get to the requirements screen for the expansion before the update, but now all it says when I click on that spot is I need to be level 30, which I am.

did you click the expansion sign before trying to expand onto the beehive. I seem to remember the notice you have posted only coming up when I clicked the beehive when not in expansion mode?
