My brother and his girlfriend are going to have a baby boy :-) I was hoping for a boy so I'd have a niece and a nephew :-)

Boys are ok, but they don't wear pink as often as girls.

My brother and his wife recently had a boy too. Their little girl seems happy. She has no idea what's in store for her poor child!!!

When I had a boy I was like "A BOY?! I don't know what to do with a BOY!".

Out of 20 grandkids on both sides I have the only boy. 19 girls and 1 boy. Not many hand-me-downs were handed down.

Oh no!!!! 19 girls?!! He must have thought he was in a certain kind of hell. Lol. My little cousin does not like girls. He is six. He has to make an effort to tolerate them. He thinks girls are ridiculous and only want to play princess games. Lol. He does not want any sisters whatsoever anywhere near him. I don't think he would have done well with 19 girl cousins.

I keep telling him to watch out. There will come a day when he's gonna want to hang out with girls so he better be nice to them now. He rolls his eyes at me everytime I say that and says with utter disgust, "Girls!"

I don't think he was ever in girl hell. Because there were no boys I think he never knew what, if anything, he was missing having girl cousins.

He has my maiden name as his second middle name seeing as how there's not much name carrying lineage stuff in my family. All the males married in.

My family is matriarchal.
