2 questions

Hey all,

My current level is 34.

Two quick questions:

1. I know you can get purple paint when you do deliveries but I was wondering if there's something I can do to get paint more often?
(Apart from staring at the newspaper way too much lol)

2. I have made 11 apple butter so far and I was wondering if you need them to make something else when your level is higher than 34?
If not I'm just going to sell them I think.

I will get drops of paint(pretty rare) from fishing, mining , from by dogs/cats and some train orders.

I have not seen anything to use apple butter for except train and plane orders. (so far - I am on level 40)

Apple butter isn't used for anything but to sell or deliver.

The only things from the jam maker that are used are peanut butter and the grape jelly to make pb&j sandwiches in the deli.

I'm level 45. I get paint from the cats mostly myself.

I wonder if this is the same for everyone iggychic or just random you get paint from cats and someone else doesn't.

A community manager posted on another thread, that drop rate is the same between the gem and coin animals.

I think you're better off buying paint with gems. I've had two cats for a couple months and maybe gotten 2 or 3 paints. Definitely not worth it if you're hoping for materials.
