Missing Peppermint Pig

My son purchased the Peppermint Pig skin in FS2 Christmas. This evening he was playing the regular version and he noticed in edit mode the peppermint skin wasn't there, to which someone replied, "That's because you're using it." So he put the regular pink skin on and the peppermint skin disappeared, but did not show up in his skin options. I completely closed out the regular version and switched back over to Christmas, but still no peppermint skin. He did purchase it, so as far as I know it should still be available, right? Anyone else having this problem?

Ok, since the update, the skins show up but I can't switch to them. They're grayed out. Same problem for my son.
