I just made my first train...didn't notice till now it has a Christmas timer on it! Does this mean it won't sell in my shop?! Or is it a bug that it has the timer?need to have some info on that before I waste any more wood or iron on it.and yes,I'm using the most recent updated version

Yes,it still shows Christmas timer on it in the valentine edition,the other players who are able to make the train confirm that theirs also shows a timer on it,but we have no problem making or selling them

For the Toy Train in the Toy Maker, I have let the team know of the Timer icon issue.

It is a permanent item in the Toy Maker.

Good to know it's permanent but I just received it today on my valentines FS2 and it has the christmas hat on it That's confusing to most who won't come here to ask about it.

Yeah, the Christmas hat timer is confusing, but the team is aware of the issue! There is no estimated time when it will be removed yet.

We need one toy that's a bit "cheaper" to make,I like the fact that the train and horse make money in the shop,but it would be nice to once in a while make a toy that 1) doesn't take more than 2 hours,2) doesn't require us to use our precious(PRECIOUS)saws,just a toy that uses materials that we have some control over,not chance items like the saw or iron

A little ball made of wool would be a good 2 hour item and a cute graphic.

As to the train, they are hard to sell because so many people see that holiday icon on top It really needs to be fixed.

Thank goodness I read this thread before purchasing. I'll wait till there's more items that can be made - and for less time hopefully.

This has now been fixed. You may need to restart your game .
