Anyone know if we need to buy the Tanggu Drum counter as part of a goal? I'd rather not buy now if that's the case. Have gotten burned a few too many times by buying something unlocked by completing a goal and it later turns out to be needed as a goal part.

Yes, you will need it in the Egg-Cellent Indeed goal.

Another asian theme in restaurant story....this is the 5th time now? Even the background music in this game is asian instead of more general jazz restaurant music. Although I think this is their best asian theme yet, the gold and red looks nice, but the end rewards with the black and yellow are terribly ugly.

you do...you have to buy 3 of them sometime before the oven unlocks. I finished it too quickly and didnt take a picture last night.

I bought 3 Tanggu drum counters before I got the egg-cellent indeed goal and it was counted into the goal.
