Diamond habitat, no dragon

Here's something I keep running across: people have diamond habitats but no diamond dragon. Why is this?

We're trying to see if having a habitat will increase our chances of breeding a diamond. No luck so far.

I bought the diamond habitat in preparation of the diamond egg, however, I have yet to breed one, lol. I'm hopeful.

If TL keeps playing with habitat limits you could find yourself with a diamond dragon but no habitat as you are over the habitat max.

I think they try and increase the chances of a Diamond, but they may be preparing for the possibility of getting a Diamond. How long does it take the habitat to build?
