i had 19 gold and when i exit and enter the game, i lost 10 gold. this happened twice

hi, this is the 2nd time it happened. both times when i had 19 gold. the first time i thought it was just my eyes playing tricks on me. but today it happened again. this time i checked before exiting and i had 19 and i exited the game and entered straight away to check if it became 9 golds and it did change from 19 to 9 again! please help explain if it is a bug or did i do smthing wrong!
