But they were so consistent before! I even chopped a Valentine tree to see if the pink furries had tails, but same problem...
Yes, and Ivy's hut used to give rat tails upon each collection. now it's more like once a week. And Ivy wants 30 tails for a recipe. If TL wants rat tails to become ultra rare they need to alter the recipes as well.

I've noticed this too, even the lovecupines have stopped dropping tails.
And troll without horn too!
I have been doing a lot o harvesting today and I have a lot of skunk pines pop up. I am getting the tails for each one.
So far all my trolls have dropped horns today and yesterday.

What are you harvesting to get them to pop up I keep getting the wolves/trolls and I need 3 for the quest
Mine have been tailless too. Just when I need the tails.
