Yup. I lost a pig the other day. Lol He reappeared after I turned my device off and back on.
This happens to me several times every day, and it's really starting to get annoying!

You can also check the number of Animals you have in the Market to make sure that none is missing. Sometimes when they are lying down, there could be 2 that are together, making it seem like one of them is missing. Once you Feed them all again, all 4 will pop back up.
