It says 'Not available through breeding' in it's album description. I've never seen that before.
It's in the craft shop, 99 Midnight Maces required. This dragon looks pretty cool, love the red eyes, i'll wait to see it's epic form.
Just did a battle with the pop up of the new dragon and it still gave me a spirit scythe.

Same here. Now there is a worthless scythe in my storage for forever. When will the Maces show up? I have the goal for it.
