It's a shame that Farm Story and Castle Story don't have many items you can use to create 3D landscapes.
Back in the days of We Rule by NGMOCO, using ordinary items to create illusionary 3D effects made the game so much more fun and creative and you could really show off your creative ideas.
There was also a bug in the game which allowed you to 'overlap' objects (called "stacking") to create some interesting and novel designs.

Wow....I missed out on the Valentines event. Was it an event? I was in the hospital with double pneumonia for 2 weeks. I also seemed to have missed out on all the western/cowboy items. I see them all over on other people's farms but this is the first time I see how the game was with the delivery plane and the train and outfits. Thank you for posting the photo.

I'm trying something different using the crops as actual decorations. I also put most of my people together so they can have a Hanami picnic Old gramps's busy fishing though.
