So I was just farmin' around earlier and noticed something really cool. So I took a photo. It is the ash tree in all 4 stages side by side. I thought it was neat and thought you guys might enjoy it too. Anyone else got any fun pics of their farms? The chickens with their heads stuck in the fence always cracks me up too! LOL
I've got a serious pile up goin', here. Bambi, Flower, Dumbo, Donner, Bolt, and underneath them all somewhere is my guinea pig.
Okay, I'm going to start out by saying my farm isn't done yet, but I do have some areas I will show/provide a picture for - because I'm happy with some of my farm.
We'll start off by showing this section of my farm, it's my most favourite.
It's my favourite simply because of how elegant and effortless it looks. I bought some of the yellow maple trees yesterday and placed it by the chickens because of the yellow that they both share. Again, it's my favourite part of my farm for this very reason!
My second favourite part of my farm is this
The Savanna Rains paired with the rock(s) - I paired them together simply because of the greys they both share, and it matches pretty well with it.
My 3rd and final favourite area is the penguin spot, it's not the most elegant but I like it because i paired the blue flowers in it (to match the blue/pink rooftop) and the penguin shopping for sunscreen. That, and I do like how I have two penguin lemonade stands.
I'd now have to say these are now my two favourite areas on my farm.
And this part
Much hasn't changed, or at least the chicken hayride area being a favourite of mine - though I'd actually say it's hard to pick between these two areas on which one is my number 1 favourite.
Though my farm isn't done or even being close to done.
I probably still have another year before my farm is finished, or closer to a year.
So my favourite area(s) are probably going to keep changing every so often.

Here's a side/section to my farm.
I've changed it quite a bit within the last month, and last few days especially. It used to look much worse than what it currently does now.
I'm still going to change it more, but for the time being and with the resources I have now I cannot do anything more than this. I would like to eventually swap out the blue Elephant Balloons with 2-3, maybe even with 5 Camp Guide Flytraps in the future. Maybe even swap out the Overgrown Fountain for the Toy Maker Building, not sure on that one yet. But when the time comes, if it ever does, I will for sure swap out the 3 balloons with the CG Flytraps.
It's amazing what the flytraps do. Their big (sometimes swaying) heads distract you from the mess that is my farm half the time, lol.
But anyways, it does indeed look a bit better and less crowded than like a month ago, even like a week ago in comparison to now - it still looks much better.
Same with this other side/section as well. But I've just started changing it within the last few days to the last week.
My changes on this side was to remove the fences next to the Juice Maker. It was repetitive having so many fences on my farm, so I decided to remove some of it. . Also moved the True Cinnamon Trees up next to the Deli, it matches better than when i had them previously next to my fountain by the feed mill over a week ago.
Anyways, this side is nowhere close to finished, as I want to eventually add some more flytraps, like the Construction Paper one for sure and a few others.
As one can see, I have many flytraps.
I also have a very small winter area on my farm. It was created by accident just over a year ago, however I've grown to like this area over time. So I'll keep this area out even though I can store all of it now, including the pets unlike when it first was (accidentally) created.
Plus a random area to display out things I cannot store/cannot find an area for to place these in.
Eventually, in that area I'll have like a flytrap colony if I keep going. Which I will as long as flytraps keep getting offered.
Anyways, this is my farm. It isn't impressive in compassion to some of the other farmers and their farms out there, but I like it personally.

Here's an older farm picture to a newer one just taken today.

It's amazing what I've changed since. It looks less crowded too.
Another comparison

A bit has changed on my farm since the older pictures were taken back in March. I'm not going to change the layout further except maybe add a few paths and decorations overtime in the unoccupied bits of green land.
Beyond that, I cannot believe I ever thought that before looked good at one point. Looking back, it's bad to me. But then who knows I may say and think the same thing in about another 6 months from now. But for now, I like the way it currently looks well enough.
Also looking at the old picture from back in March, regarding that gem amount, It seems so insignificant now to the amount I have currently. It's strange looking back and seeing all the changes I've made slowly in game over time regarding a few things. I was scared to have more than 100 gems at me at any given time back then, but now I no longer have that fear. Which means I keep a decent stockpile well above 100 at any given point.
I have also made a few changes on the other side of my farm, where the
white paths are, though I don't have any progress / comparison pictures as I've deleted most of them overtime.
One thing I will share a picture of is my favourite area on my farm though, and it's from the white pathed section on my farm.
It's multi coloured whilst also still trying to keep colour coordination as best as I can match, and, there's many flytraps within "walking" distant from one another. Had a neighbour suggest placing the Bluebelles by the Lovetraps when I asked. Glad they gave me that suggestion! Very nice.
