Here's the thread where we can say "happy birthday" to anyone with a birthday.

Mine was a few months ago so I'll just say Happy Belated Birthday to myself.
If anyone has a birthday and wants some good wishes this is the place to come.

Well it is soon to be my 50th birthday! It is in August. We have a tradition in the Netherlands. When you are a man you see Abraham and when you are a woman you see Sarah. You do not really see them but you know we say it. I know it is strange because someone in Germany thought we change our name in it...? Then everybody would have the same name after 50! Now we also say: now you know where you get the custard ? I do not know that yet, because I am not 50 yet. LOL...but it means you are wise. I do not know that...if i am going to be a wise woman playing DS and CS....
Has anybody else have a tradition in their country in becoming a certain age?

I'm German but I live in Canada. I don't follow any traditions.

hmm. I can't think of any traditions here in Jamaica surrounding birthdays. There is usually cake and ice cream and singing various version sof the Happy Birthday Song and jesting about how old the person is but that's about it, really. Happy belated cherryberry
