Poll: Duplicate dragons?

Question: How many duplicates are you holding onto?

I was planning on doing an inventory here shortly after I finished evolving all of my dragons. Only had 3 Serpents left and my Pumpkin and Cheshire dragons ( which I refuse to evolve ). But I recently just got a Dark Angel ( YAY ) going for a Troll Dragon, so I decided to do the inventory to see which dragons I'd sell to make room. I'm currently at Habitat Cap and have almost all my dragons ( 141 ), even my duplicates at max level.

So here's what my island looks like ( Click Spoiler below to view images ):

I mapped out my island and labelled all the habitats and began to fill it out.

That's the habitat / location breakdown. Here's the list of types and amounts, easier to see how many duplicates I have... 1 dragon ( unless noted ) Colored green = common dragons Bolded to make duplicates easier to see.

So from that list you can see I have a mass swarm of Tuskers, but I'll probably get rid of 3 Genies to make room for a new Black Habitat for my new Dark Angel dragon.

I could really use trading and crafting... I have 57 duplicates if I counted right. 3 dragons per habitat would mean 19 habitats are just wasting space where I could decorate better and really reduce my lag. I was wondering how bad it is for others. This is mostly directed towards Android since we kind of have to hold onto our dragons ( or just sell them, Yuck! ) but iOS can answer too if you are holding onto a bunch for whatever reasons.

I can't even fathom how many dragons I've sold that I could've traded instead since I would have only needed to feed them to level 4 instead of raising all my dragons to level 10.

Don't know exactly but I think I've got at least 6 habitats of them. Left my duplicates at level 4. I would sell them, if I can get the gemstone/diamond hybrids easily. Unfortunately, I can go weeks without getting any new dragons so I believe they'll be staying around for quite a while.

My duplicates are:
babies - left and right hearts, familiar, tusker, griffin, parakeet, crusader , serpent
level 4 - atlantis, landworm, mindvolt, 2 virtues (just keeping them because I'm missing Naga, Kitsune, Quartz, Kite), bubble, honeybee, scorpion, 2 extra fireworks (well, one is epic, one is level 4 and one is level 7), 1 stone, saturn (well, didn't get eclipse, might as well keep an extra)

wow, I thought I had less. Lol. Some I'm keeping just because, but there are others I don't wanna sell...Like the Hearts and fireworks. :/ and Saturn, that one doesn't need to leave.

59 duplicates here. I keep them mostly for the money. I'm nearly maxed out on habitats and have only got 80 different types of dragon, so it seems silly to have lots of empty spaces when I can fill up habitats with duplicates and make more money!

Some duplicates will be traded out for gems, but mostly they will be sold off once I need the space, or to replace with a higher earning duplicate. My favorite duplicates are my 3 spare aethers and second crusader

So far 58 duplicates are still only at levels 1,2 & 3 as I've so many 'keepers' I'm trying to evolve, LOL.

I did a rough count of my duplicates and the number is somewhat over 60. I cannot bother to be very specific because I'd waste such a lot of time, and I have kids to take care of IRL,

Some of them like my duplicate gemstones or fairytales I keep because it would bother me to sell them for a mere 100 coins. The others O started keeping to fill the habitats -more coins and replace them with duplicate rares or super rares. The duplicates change a bit depending on what I'm trying to breed and the fails I get. I wish I could do something useful with the duplicates I have.

This was a pain. Just pressing on my habitats to see the dragons, my game crashed 18 times because I'm Android. However, throughout all the frustration, I did get a list of what I'm working with per habitat color.

I'm an Android user. I have 136 unique, epic dragons ( only missing Boo, Zombie, Witch and Turkey ). The only duplicate I currently have is Leo, because I'm tying to get Virgo. I get rid of duplicates, even diamond hybrids: 1 Infinity, 4 Gold, 3 Angel, 2 Mercury, 4 Anubis and 1 Crusader. Without crafting what is the purpose of having duplicates? Unless you are a low level user trying to collect more coins

I've got 135 dragons in total and have 2 duplicates. A baby Moon and a baby Angel. I would sell those if I needed to, but would prefer to keep the Angel if I could

I was thinking about this one quite a while. Would I keep duplicates if I were iOS? And the answer is a maybe. The reason I want all of my dragons gone is because I'm on Android and it would help with the lag and just navigating around my island.

If I didn't have lag issues and could navigate around freely I may decide that my coin output would not be high enough and actually keep duplicates. As it is right now the only duplicate I would really want is the Pumpkin dragon, I love the baby form but wouldn't mind the Juvenile and Epic forms.

I used to log in all the time and would :: gasp :: visit neighbors too, but that was early in the game when I didn't have so many habitats and didn't decorate heavily, navigating around was cumbersome but liveable. Now I log in check my evolutions & breeding den and log out. I rarely collect food and coins now just because of how much of a pain it is to move around.

I think ideally ( in a non-laggy world ) I may keep 20 or so duplicates ( if my coin output was deemed too low for my tastes ). It would give me enough coins, room to decorate and not lag me to the point I wouldn't want to log into the game.
