Coins instead of Quest Outpost items

If there's already a thread on this problem please direct me to it. I tried looking for one before posting.

Lately when I send a dragon on a quest, I get coins when completed instead of the item I'm supposed to get. For example, I sent Fire dragon for gold and got 1500 coins instead. This has happened several times in several different quests. I have closed and reopened, and also restarted my phone several times and still happens. I'm afraid to quest for any of the special components until this is fixed.

Is this a known issue? Or do I need to send an email?

When doing the outpost quests, the best items are harder to get. For example for the Fire dragon, getting the gold is the rare item and the chances of getting gold is lower than say getting coins, food, etc.
