old Nexus 7 and new Nexus 7 (2013) problems zooming out, panning

These bugs affect all versions of dragon story from google play birthday (the first one I ever played) to the current 29 (tropics).

Old nexus 7 cannot zoom out very far at all, at least not compared to how far one can zoom out on nexus 4 or ipad. Sometimes zooming out gesture on old nexus 7 results in zooming in.

New nexus 7 can zoom out fairly far compared to the nexus 7 (not as far as nexus 4 or ipad) but once zoomed out, it is impossible to scroll the screen far enough to see the top of the dragon islands.

This means when I visit a high-level player who has used the top island to its fullest, I can't play with dragons near the top when zoomed out, I have to zoom in pretty far and then pan upwards before the game will let me see them on my 2013 nexus 7.
