I think you have it backwards. You need to have 100 gems to buy 200,000 coins. You can use coins to buy gems.
I meant to say you can NOT use coins to buy gems!
This is correct, be sure you do not mistake the exchange in the Expansion Tab.
It will cost Gems to get those coins, not the other way around.
You will need 40 gems to expand.. so Expansions are great.. and worthwhile since you want the biggest expansion possible. (17x20)
I cannot tell what amount the coins are that are required to expand my bakery, it was there at some point for the 17x20 but now it just says gems, I guess I'll have to actually have about 2,500,000 coins to expand.
I like big, it is easier to decorate with.
I don't have all the costs as I have already expanded and could only remember some of the expansion costs. Here's what I have:
12 X 15 ....... 500,000 coins
13 X 16 ..... 1,000,000 coins
14 X 17 ..... 2,000,000 coins
15 X 18 ..... 3,000,000 coins
16 X 19 ..... 4,000,000 coins
17 X 20 ..... 5,000,000 coins
Each expansion can also be done with 40 gems at each level.
I also don't remember at which size all bakeries start out.
I also forgot to mention that you can not jump to the size you want, you have to go in order sequentially. so to expand all the sizes above it will take 15,500,000 coins or just 240 gems. Do the math.
If you are going to use gems, this is the best way to use them. expanding to 17 X 20 is the best use of gems for the highest ROI.
I don't buy gems, I get them the old fashioned way, I earn them.
