I think two of the same typle is fine.
I must also try for Tropic, I love the colors.
Someone said water/fire for Tropic. I only got an Athletic the last time.

Will try Water/Fire= 20 hrs. Hope not another island or Magic. These common Dragon should not take up a lot of time. 5 hours should be enough.

Today I breed Epic Spirit and Epic DA got 14 hours BT,hope for the NightElf,could be Illusion...First try got Coral....Actually I'm try for Metal...This combo could get him too.
