Is there a difference in drop rates between the two? I am not so concerned with mermaid scales right now as I am maxed on them, but more interested in fish, and the space taken up by the ponds.

The drop rate is the same for me. I prefer wells, they can be tossed anywhere. Ponds, they take too much space!

I'd say the drop rate is the same. I prefer wells because of space AND shorter recharge time of 5 minutes. Ponds take 10.

Quick question. Is it worth crafting wells to replace my ponds (aside from space usage) do they drop better goods or higher volumes? Thank you.
They have the same drop rates, so it just depends on your space and esthetics.

I went with wells in the end. Takes some crafting, but they are SOOOO much smaller, and I am now maxed out on mermaid scales!
