Just got this in my game so haven't read this thread before. However, as my epic fire just lost easily to a level 1 forest, I am assuming that these tournaments go by different rules to the battles?

Yep, my epic Fire lost to lvl 1 Forest too.
I think I will not continue this tournament until TL makes it more honest.
Why tournament balance so differs from usual battles?
My lvl9 Crusader just lost to lvl1 Forest.
Nothing makes sense on this game anymore.
Level 6 ruby won against forest 1.... 4 gold now to battle again not 1 gold like before

I just beat forest (lvl 1) one magic attack with ruby. Seemed so easy but the battles are now challenging.
