From this question having been asked before on the Forum, we learn the answer is NO. It does not allow more customers nor does it ring up your numbers any faster. It is only a "decoration"-expensive one too! I bought it and had it in the bakery for just a matter of hours. I'll probably never take it out of storage. Hope that helps!
