Ya I just was able to expand too. No trade tickets needed. 11 lanterns...
I was fully expanded until now also so I know it's new.

Yep,expanded,check!now I've bashed rocks,chopped trees,watering hole,etc-do we have to tend to ALL the various forms of trees,rocks,etc?!(I'm assuming any gem item isn't part of the goal,like fruit trees)

I'm cooking my way through the various glues for the brewers trial, if that doesn't work I'll start on the other potions.

Ooh be careful!!! I had one expansion slot left that I was working on, so I popped over and expanded it, but it didn't satisfy the new expansion goal!! You must have to use the new one guys!!! Now I'm short 3 lanterns...grrrr!!!

Yay- restarted the game and the expansion is there.

I'm having the same problem, if someone figures it out please post! No matter what I do, NOTHING is registering with the goal. Add me if yous want also, eternalinfinite

Just discovered a new expansion slot...and double grrrr!!

Which block is the newest expansion? I'm 8 blocks away from being fully expanded and I don't think I see any new blocks so it must be a follow-up to another.

I just did new expansion and the adventure goal checked off and the button type thing is in my inventory
