Mother's day is only a few days away so let's continue the celebration this week with a poetry contest! Find your rhyme and rhythm to show off your poetic chops. Write a very special poem to that very special mother in your life. Share your feelings and creativity with us for your chance to win Gems or Gold in the TeamLava game of your choice!

• Your poem does not have to rhyme.
• No more than 20 lines per poem.
• Only 1 entry per person.

They say that beauty fades,
but the beauty from within you never does.
Rather, it becomes ever greater,
Ever growing and evolving like your love.

As a child I hoped I'd some day be like you,
I tried to shape myself in your image.
Your shining light has always been a beacon,
to lead me down the path that I should take.

And now I stand before you, a woman grown,
and find you are no longer my idol, but my friend.
And I could never be more grateful,
to have a friend, and a mother just like you.
