Goals using jewels

Which goals/quests/crafts do you use the jewels & silver for. I am level 18 but have been concentrating on resources buildings and expansions. I just got a load of jewels from the builders caravan goal and am now maxed out (interestingly I got a jewel gift notification before I completed the goal but hadn't accepted it as I do all my gifting in one go and when I got the extra jewels from the caravan thought I wouldn't be able to accept the gift but it has allowed me to and put my inventory total up to 110, so I guess if when the gift is sent your inventory is OK then you can have it even if you max out before accepting) Anyway, what I'm trying to find out is when I will start using up some of these jewels as I hate getting the message that says you can't hold any more of an item as I just know there will come a time when I'll be short and think about all those times I collected and wish I had them. I've been maxed on silver for ages.

Start making royal beams and blocks, from the looks of it.

I've started making pink jewels from jewels (if you have the love shack) for the Valentine's adventure. Can't make royal blocks and beams since I'm saving silver for the new traverse the desert sands adventure. You need a lot of silver for the Sabina quest line.

Lol you need a lot of jewels for sabina quest line also.

Main jewel sink
1) rich windbag caravan - 60 jewels
2) sabina house - 81 jewels
3) upgrading buildings - a lot of jewels

So don't worry. You will have uses for those jewels.

Thanks everyone - typically within about 5 minutes of me going back into CS after posting I got the rich windbag caravan and lo 60 jewels needed!

Methods to get lots of jewels
1) Force 20 friends to play CS. Make them gift you jewels everyday (Best way that is free)
2) Get the fourth shard. Make jewels using coal.
3) Mine lots of rocks
4) Use gems
5) Sir Piggleworth sometimes will drop 2 jewels. Always collect from him.
