A couple of questions: gifting & oranges/ lemons

I have a neighbor that I gift daily. Some days, I cannot send her an Earth Wisp. I can send everything else to her, but not an Earth Wisp. I know the limit of only being able to gift 3 neighbors daily, so that isn't the issue. Is there possibly a limit to how many Earth Wisps you can "receive" from neighbors daily?

Also, I got an orange today while clicking on things. Could this have come from Sir Pigglesworth? Can I also get lemons w/o buying a lemon tree?

I had the earth wisp gift problem too. Maguar told me when you get to 80 wisps, your neighbors can't gift you anymore. You either have to use them somehow, or they have to gift you something else.
Yes, Sir P. gives fruit.
