Not liking the spiders!!!!

Been stuck on level 125 for weeks now. Anyone got advice? I think I might have to delete game and I used to love this game. I can't deal with the random attack from the spiders. They are so unfair . Is it all down to luck or am I missing something obvious?

I still haven't noticed a pattern to their movement and I'm on 135 now. Agree they're evil! Keep at it!

Thanks have got to 129 and still not liking spiders!!!!!! Yes it is satisfying to beat them but it is too annoying for me how random they are. Think it is end of game for me.

I have 2 theories on the spiders, but I'm looking for someone to confirm/corroborate:

1. If you throw bubbles directly below the one they're on, they will likely go down to the new one.
2. If you do not "advance" -- meaning you don't pop a series of bubbles -- then they are less likely to advance on your babies, too.

Does anyone know if either or both of these 2 theories are correct, OR notice anything different?
