Stable & hatchery tiny production, not equal to sawmill & mine

I'm frustrated with my stables and hatcheries because for about four hours' wait I get only 1 wool, 2 milk, and usually no bacon or hide, and then maybe 1 or 2 roast chicken and 3 eggs. These should drop higher percentages than what we get for the outright animals because of our cost to put them in and upgrade. Right now, they're not worth it, or something is wrong with only my stables and hatcheries.

They should be on par with the kind of production we get out of our four-ish hours from sawmills and mines.

Is something wrong with just my stables or is this an unfair gameplay issue?

My 2 hatcheries always give 3 eggs + 2 chickens;
stables always give 3 milk + 1 hide,
sometimes 3 milk + 1 bacon +1 wool
