Can I trade my extra light dragons?

Hi- if this has been dealt with somewhere else please forgive, I couldn't find an answer. In the trading post it shows the teardrop gem for crafting but when I go to trade dragons none of my extra light dragons are in the box of tradable dragons. Can someone clarify if I can trade them and if so why can't I do it? If not why does it show those gems for crafting? Thanks for any help in advance.

You can only trade hybrids. So two / three colours, not single colours

So, you cannot trade, red, yellow, green, blue, light or diamond and I think mythic at this time. The rest you can.

Was just about to say you can trade magic, which is great seeing as that's all I kept getting when breeding my left and right dragon, so closer to get the Amethyst dragon!
