Blue clouds and lightning?

I just collected from my kitchens and workshops and all of a sudden my kitchens were engulfed in a big blue cloud with lightning shooting out of it. Has anyone seen this? I'm level 28 and have never noticed it before, but i dont always watch while collecting

It happened again just now and I was able to get a screenshot this time. Big purple and blue clouds billow around my kitchens and workshops. I caught the pic with the clouds at the bottom, but then they eclipse the buildings and lightning shoots out of them.

Sounds like a gas leak, better call the repairman.
