Sence of serenity goal

Hi, I am stuck at the Sence of serenity goal, I already purchased the cherry blossom wallpaper and covered all my walls before I got the goal so now I can't buy the 8 wallpaper to complete it. Why don't previous purchases count and I have to buy more? Is there anyway to get around this without spending gems to skip the goal?

Try buying any other wallpaper

Sometimes it works if you buy any wallpaper. Try that. If it doesn't work, if you are at max expansion email Support. If not at max either expand or skip with gems.
