So after 10 Fruitfuls, 2 Parakeets and 2 Fairies, I managed to breed 1 Luck Dragon before the contest period was up. I didn't have nearly enough food to get it to Epic but at least I got one entry in. Didn't manage to acquire an Elf Dragon after all those tries though.

These contests are 95% for high levels to win. There is 0% chance for lower levels to get this dragon epic! I'm lv26 and my 4-Leaf is lv6 and costs 1000 food to feed.

I was level 27 when I got the four leaf to epic. It can be done. No I didn't buy food.

No... I didn't do that either. Are food costs different on different platforms?

I think from level 9-10 it was 1k per feeding but that was the highest.
