Do I NEED Thurston's fort to trigger Knightly Confidence goal?

I'm trying to trigger the Knightly Confidence (make the bling bling) v-day goal. I have read you need to collect from Thurston's fort to trigger this, however I've been able to at least start every other valentines goal even without a theatre for example (still need to build it though for goal completion but I've seen people saying you needed it to trigger other quests).

Am I stuck going through Thurston's quest line to reach building the fort or will the master botany goal open it? Trying to see if this is even possible with the time left. I'm at the goal where you **** 10 of each skunkupine etc.

Yes, you do need Thurston's fort to trigger the quest. Dont worry, you have plenty time to do the quest (6-8 weeks)
