Having problems buying the drink machine

I just reached level 23 and so I am trying to buy the drink machine but every time I click on it I get the pop up message about needing parts to build it. I click on the ok button but I am not able to get the item to place in my restaurant. I even tried to get other appliances that require parts and I can't get any of them out either. I have six appliances now so it isn't that I already have the max amount so what am I doing wrong?

You need to click in the upper left corner where the coin is to be able to place the appliance out on your floor. The appliances are very finicky about where you click. I had the same problem in the beginning. Just click it in the upper left corner and you should be able to set it out to build.

You have to tap away from the hammer. Try tapping on the upper left corner of the drink machine and it should let you place it on your restaurant. lol, this happened to me once.
