My cat Hugh (he's gone now) used to shred entire rolls rolls of toilet paper. The whole roll, all over the bathroom. He did it right up until he died at age 16.

I am so grateful that none of my cats have ever done that. My cat Henry instead eats Havaianas flip flops. Smh.

i guess, pinkster, I guess...maybe it is the chewyness or it. But with cats who knows why they do what they do. Now i have to hide all my flip flops on a very high shelf in shoe boxes. If i put them in boxes on a low shelf he finds them and gets them out of the box and has a feast. He not only chews the things up either.It looks like he actually SWALLOWS too since i never actually see the chewed up bits on the ground! o.o That cannot be good for his insides at all.
The same Henry has a thing for chips too...and cheerios. Anything crunchy. He doesn't like bread though, which is odd since it is chewy like the flip flops. And yet he refuses to touch Greenies or any cat treats. Which is downright strange.
