If you mean Chef Hats when you are cooking an item, each chef hats helps you to "master" up in that recipe. As you master up, around Level 2 of mastery you should receive a gem as a reward. Keep in mind, you will need to at least be past level 8 in order to achieve mastery.Originally Posted by Unregistered
As you suspected, the Hearts mean the satsifaction of the customers, and you will see the toolbar of hearts in the top menu of your bakery. It is ideal to keep it at 100.
wat abt the broken blue hearts? unhappy that there's not enough seats? or they don't like the selection of food served? or not enought cashier to handle the queue?
The broken hearts are customers who are either unable to be seated due to seats unavailable (someone in or headed for all seats already) or there is no food available (counters empty). Every broken heart reduces the popularity of the cafe by 1 point (see popularity count at top of screen), every happy heart/customer increases the popularity by 1 point (to a max of 100). The higher the popularity the faster the customers come in.
