Doom jewels dont show countdown

Sometimes the doom jewels arent showing a countdown. Anyone else have this problem?

Do they still explode?

Did you buy the boost that prevents them from exploding?

Yes they explode and no boost.

Ok I'd start with deleting and reinstalling the game to see if that fixes it.

i know that the doom jewels won't show a countdown when it's showing you that it is matched with at least two other jewels to be popped. but once you get rid of a set, it should go back to showing you the countdown.
