Disappearing food!!!

Same thing happens with me. I had full counters and food disappeared. I had thousands of servings. A lot of time cooking is lost not to mention the loss of coins.

I can confirm this. Don't block the door with the host table/counter.
Use a chair or something else instead.

The game will usually quick-sell all of your inventory if you block the door to your store. When you block the door, you may not see the customers coming in, but our system will still recognize them walking in and buying your items. When you open your door again, the consumption that took place while your door was blocked catches up, which is why it looks like you instantly lost all of your items.

If you want to avoid the quick-sell, don't block your door.

As previously mentioned, we do not advise you to block your doors. Doing so can have unintended consequences.

My food appeared. I think it was cause it was loading really slowly.thanks for all the input.

That happened to me when I used to block my door... all food SOLD in seconds. I did get the coin earnings for it though... you probably did too! But it's because of blocking the door... that's a glitch caused by blocking sometimes.

I have not blocked my door yet my food is still disappearing with no extra coins. HELP!!!!!!!
