Going back for more stars!

I need more stars to unlock the next island, so I went to the early levels at on level 17 with one star tried again.

Kept beating my last score but once I'd got to 103,000 and still had only one star I gave up!

Has anyone else found the score calibration to be a bit odd?

I had to go back and do the same thing, and focused on the second island since i had perfect scores on the first from the get-go. It did take me several tries and had to get over 100,000 to get a second star rating. It was such a pain! I just hated to have to waste the energy to go back when I'd rather have focused on progressing.

Yeah, I still need 2 more stars to open island 6, and even though I am crushing my old scores on the glass levels, I'm still getting one star. I'm going to try getting more special items during the round instead of trying to finish in the fewest moves. I had 23 moves left on one level and it basically just blew up the whole screen at the end, over 100k, but still only one star. Spacing it out and using specials to get more combos may help. We'll see once I wait 5 hours to refill all the energy. :P

Trying to get more stars to get to open island 6 two....had 138,000 points and still 2 stars. Over 100,000 for still 1 star...unreal.. I am playing for my daughter to get her gold for dragon story...but soon, I will give up. Got her over 200 by playing castle story and pet story and bubble mania. She can earn the rest from neighbors.

Friday is my deadline....island six or delete.

I got all three stars up to 8th island, but the only way i could do was keep trying. i know its crazy but somehow doable when you get luncky.
