Why is it so much money for me but not for other

Hi, the other day I downloaded this game and for some
Reason dragons and habitats are almost 3 times what my girlfriend and best friend pay for it. We all have the iPhone 5 and have been playing it at almost the same time. My girlfriend started playing a few days before me and my best friend started playing a few days after. This doesn't make any sense. I love this game but this is starting to get ridiculous. Anyone know why this is acting like this? Is there and update coming for it?

This is something that the mods have said is part of the game, unfortunately, and there's nothing you can do about it. They have said some players might experience different play costs - my personal guess is to test out those conditions. However, I don't think it's a very fair way of testing.
